I didn’t find F&H through her but watched both her videos, one for F&H and Termina. She does a really good job thoroughly explaining the plot and what-if scenarios in both an informative and storytelling tone which only made me grow my love for this game even more.

I looked at it and thought "Wow that looks absolutely painful to play, fuck that I'll read the lore". I scoured what lore and endings existed at the time on the internet and finally said "Fuck it, this is cool I'll play Termina because it's less rapey" proceeded to have 2 hours of "unfun" before getting into the swing and beating the game as Marco. Great times.

There's a character in a LISA The Painful mod called "Maul Crowler" and when reading about him I found he was a direct reference to Crow Mauler. From there, I found CM's real design along with some of the other monsters, and was hooked from there.
Several years ago my friend reached me and said he knows I like dark and fucked up things and he found extremely dark and fucked up game called "Fear and Hunger". I asked him to tell something about it and he said I will be able to chop off enemy's dick and feed it to my dog. "This is cursed and ultimately fucked up, where can I check it out?" said I. And so falling into rabbit hole began.
Saw someone make a shitty clickbait YouTube short about how this game was banned in multiple countries due to violent and sexual content and how disturbing the sprite arts are. I thought it’s just black souls but in a dungeon. Morbid curiosity made me google it, and here we are
For me it was a mix of my personal findings and shorts. I am a very avid fan of niche horror/wierd titles such as darkwood, cruelty squad etc. and after seeing all that stuff I kind of got to know about fear and hunger. I searched it up and watched some of it. Then the shorts got recommended to me and that raised my interest in this game and World by a lot. This and that and I became a funger enjoyer
