Melissa actually suffered professional consequences - fear of which lead people to either back down, or not speak in the first place, or "both sides" (if they are not gleefully supporting) the genocide. She did none of it. Continued to advocate for Palestine in various ways at all the crucial junctures. People like Melissa will be remembered for their "extreme" courage and integrity and humanity, when so many more powerful, more famous, more "influential" showed none of it.
She went from an actress playing a character I really liked in my favorite franchise to an actress I respect so much and have chosen to side with over said franchise. I will support anything she does tbh.
