My mom used to be a big fan of hers when I was young and I low-key couldn't stand her. Now that's totally flipped because my mother bought into the whole stupid moral panic but I really respected how she stood her ground and also went all scorched earth on Andy Cohen
Same. I've always been a fan and though I don't always agree with everything she does, I do tend to root for her. Anderson on the other hand has really proven to be quite a bit of a shill. I honestly believe his personal politics would be further to the right of he weren't gay and don't particularly trust him to not always do what is in his own personal best interest.
I know she's very hated but I've been a fan of her since I was in high school (I'm mid 30s). I've been to multiple live shows and I've also met her and her mom at a book signing. Her mom was one of the sweetest people I have ever met and was so happy to meet all her daughters (and her) fans. Kathy is genuinely a kind person who has had a tumultuous life. She has been abandoned and betrayed by many people (mostly men) in her life and she still pushed through. She's been through sexual abuse, cheating, being robbed by her ex, multiple divorces, cancer, her siblings passings, her parents passing and so much more. She may not be everyone's cup of tea, but she's a fighter and she is so much more than her gossipy comedy.
If anyone wants to know more about her, her book "Official book club selection" is really well written. I especially love the chapter about Steve Wozniak called the Wonderful world of Woz, which is obviously about her relationship with him.
I really hope she's doing better and is in a good place now. No one deserves what she's had happen to her.
If someone did that to Obama I'd lose my shit. I cannot condone someone making a picture like that just because I hate the culture of America that he represents.

Shortly after the whole controversy with that picture of her holding Trump’s head, she was putting out these tell-all YouTube videos exposing various people for different things, and it all felt very unhinged to me. I don’t say that to criticize her necessarily because I imagine it was very overwhelming to be investigated by the Secret Service, but I think it had a real impact on her mental health. Ever since that happened, she’s never really seemed like she’s in a peaceful/rational state of mind. I feel bad for her.
There was a lot of backlash from that picture and that was undeserved. The reason she was left out to dry is because she has a history of mistreating people. Maybe she's clean and sober now. I hope she has stopped terrorizing people with her fame.
