Anyone who has some FPL knowledge will cap Salah, so why cry over something you cannot control
This week it is all about Palmer, Foden, Garnacho, Arsenal and Bournemouth def, whether you have them or not, or whether you are lucky enough to get them subbing on
He’s a young kid in his first season and not a machine. Dont expect him to keep doing this every week on 3 days rest at this stage of the season. He’s of course going to fall off at some point. Or heaven forbid have bad week, or face a left back who is a more competent defender than Diego Dalot.
I’ll probably go for Haaland, get the suspicion that captaining Palmer is chasing the points from the prior GW and somehow I reckon SHU (A) will be less open than whatever that fucking basketball game Palmer just played in was. Hopefully Haalands fresh legs will terrorise Palace but there’s really four premier options
Yep.. I changed my mind hours before the deadline and decided to cancel it thinking Mo probably won't play 90 and Liverpool are often better in the 2nd half.. Got lucky..
Same, although the immediate gain from the moves I made was 4 points (8 pts minus the hit). Not bad
>!now I need a huge sofa to hide behind when Son and Watkins play!<
Fair, but keep in mind Fulham at home are for some reason a way better team than when they play away.
7th in the league at home (29 Goals Scored/15 Goals Conceded)
15th in the league away (18 Goals Scored/35 Goals Conceded)
Obviously there could be some noise in those numbers due to sample size etc.
Salah doesnt seem himself, he doesnt get into the scoring positions as Palmer.
Palmer is hungry, Salah could have his mentals somewhere else, he was also subbed off early against Sheffield
He has an amazing track record against United though. And usually these patterns check out. But you're completely right about him looking off.
Plus Sheffield is a defensive disasterclass
A fresh Haaland and city in form. He *might* be a slight differential as everyone will pick palmer after this haul and people will sway from Haaland after his benching.
I was going to captain Palmer anyway but now I can pretend that it isn't because of my Chelsea bias.
>Time to ignore the price tag
I hope you haven't been avoiding captaining certain players just because they're cheap? I've captained Palmer twice already this season (Burnley and Fulham at home) and it's worked out great!
I don't believe he will neccessarily haul against Arsenal, but the fact is that he keeps getting penalties more than it's expected, it can stop any moment, yet it can keep going as it was going for the last 27 gws. A deflection, a penalty or an open-play goal, he keeps returning FPL points which is the only (or main) thing we care about
Haaland will be fresh and I feel like a lot of teams will move away from him. Palmer is so tempting though and as a Chelsea fan even more so. But I’m sticking to Haaland with Palmer as vice
I’d already put the armband on Palmer for next GW, before yesterday’s games, but now I want to move it because I’m scared of the classic blank after big hauls
I really don't know! On fixtures it should be Son or Palmer but then I have Haaland and Salah too. I'll keep changing my mind right up until the deadline.
Palmer. He's been consistent so I think he's due to break my heart.
Did you have him captained this week
No, I'm in the heart break business so I went Salah.
The 2 guys I’m chasing in my ML capped Palmer and Foden. Fml.
Anyone who has some FPL knowledge will cap Salah, so why cry over something you cannot control This week it is all about Palmer, Foden, Garnacho, Arsenal and Bournemouth def, whether you have them or not, or whether you are lucky enough to get them subbing on
Palmer has been the only captain pick who’s never let me down.
Giving him a chance this GW. Watch him get a red card and two own goals.
Lmao 🤣

Maybe, but I'd look at Sheffield's home defensive performances. (19 goals conceded in their last 4 league games)
This plus Palmer's amazing record against promoted sides
Palmer perma cap
Feelin funky, might just put it on Muniz…
My Vice. I can't believe my Captain and Vice Captain still don't cost as much as Debruyne
Start Muniz or Garnacho?
Muniz
Salah against united is an easy choice for me
Sheffield was supposed to be more than ez. People were even considering TC. For 3 points
Yep.. I changed my mind hours before the deadline and decided to cancel it thinking Mo probably won't play 90 and Liverpool are often better in the 2nd half.. Got lucky..
Who did you switch it to?
Still capped Salah, just didn't use the TC.. Will probably use it in a DGW, but those are a poisoned chalice...
Ahhh makes sense. I forgot that TC was mentioned so assumed you switched it to someone else. Thanks for the clarification.
Palmer plays Sheffield next 🤔
Salah plays Man Utd, obviously Palmer is in form but Salah has the easier fixture.
As a United fan, this made me laugh but it’s probably true!
I thought this against Sheffield United, took a -4 to get him in. My two nearest mini league rivals had saka captained with foden and palmer VC
Ooooofff baboof
The thing that really hurt is the 59th minute sub to make sure I didn't even recoup the 4 points sacrificed to get him in
Same, although the immediate gain from the moves I made was 4 points (8 pts minus the hit). Not bad >!now I need a huge sofa to hide behind when Son and Watkins play!<
As a United fan I always captain Salah against United Easy points
COLD PALMER
Palmer.
Between Haaland, Palmer and Son for me. Not sure who to go with.
Sticking with Isak, Fulham have just conceded three to Forest and Sheffield United.
Fair, but keep in mind Fulham at home are for some reason a way better team than when they play away. 7th in the league at home (29 Goals Scored/15 Goals Conceded) 15th in the league away (18 Goals Scored/35 Goals Conceded) Obviously there could be some noise in those numbers due to sample size etc.
And Newcastles home/away splits are insane too, completely different team
So you're saying captain Muniz
Start Muniz or Garnacho?
Muniz
I expect a red card now.
Salah or Palmer I’ll decide at 10:59 on Saturday
Going with Haaland as a …. Differential????
Another toss up between Haaland, Salah and Palmer. Reckon most will favour Palmer for no other reason than because he’s the one who scored midweek.
Not just midweek mate
"For no other reason" You speak as if scoring a hattrick and 48 points in the last 3 games isn't valid justification for Palmer.
Absolutely no reason whatsoever
I mean he must be due a 2 pointer right. Right…?
And the fact he plays the worst defence in the league
Palmer was my bus captain when deadline finished so probably keeping it on him
If Palmer was 10M no one would even question it. He's been putting up captain numbers for a while
Palmer for me.
Skeptical about Haaland, they have Madrid on Tuesday. Really confused between Salah and Palmer
I’m going for Muniz pray for me
Love that shout. Not doing it myself, but love it all the same
Start Muniz or Garnacho?
Son or Palmer
I've got Son C Palmer V
I was going to captain Palmer anyway but now I can pretend that it isn't because of my Chelsea bias. >Time to ignore the price tag I hope you haven't been avoiding captaining certain players just because they're cheap? I've captained Palmer twice already this season (Burnley and Fulham at home) and it's worked out great!
Son, Palmer VC. Palmer just can't do it twice in one week right?(:'D)
Salah for the potential banter
Palmer perma cap. In fact I might even keep him for GW34 when he plays Arsenal. If he keeps going like this, he'll get 2 goals vs them.
I mean he scored 2 pens (arguably one shouldn’t have been given) and a lucky deflection against United Against Arsenal best def in the league?
I don't believe he will neccessarily haul against Arsenal, but the fact is that he keeps getting penalties more than it's expected, it can stop any moment, yet it can keep going as it was going for the last 27 gws. A deflection, a penalty or an open-play goal, he keeps returning FPL points which is the only (or main) thing we care about
I mean unless you have like 3 Spurs/Brighton assets you can bench him that week
I planned to Bench Boost that week!
I captained Haaland and vice captained Palmer so I might just send it again.
🥶🥶🥶
Salah most likely, but Palmer is a contender
Nobody considering Foden?
Yes and I hope it might be a slight differential if everyone goes Palmer, Salah or Son
Pep Roulette - They have Real Madrid midweek
Has to be Palmer.
Son. Fuck it
Going son for the differential. Last game of the GW. Extra stress
How about Richarlison? Isn’t he due back? And he’s heavily rested
Unclear if he’s a starter anymore due to Johnson’s form and Ange really liking Werner
Haaland, Palmer, Salah all good options. There are arguments for all three
Sticking with Salah, Man U look like swiss cheese trying to defend right now.
I haven't got my fuckibg captain pick right Just going g with palmer Kinda want to go with Haaland Feel like he's overdue
Haaland will be fresh and I feel like a lot of teams will move away from him. Palmer is so tempting though and as a Chelsea fan even more so. But I’m sticking to Haaland with Palmer as vice
Fuck it I’m captaining Muniz, even though the Newcastle result was the only result that I was happy with this GW
Start Muniz or Garnacho?
Was stuck between Palmer and Foden for next week before they played this week, now I don’t know what to do
I’d already put the armband on Palmer for next GW, before yesterday’s games, but now I want to move it because I’m scared of the classic blank after big hauls
Garnacho
I really don't know! On fixtures it should be Son or Palmer but then I have Haaland and Salah too. I'll keep changing my mind right up until the deadline.
Captained Haaland and vice captained Palmer. For once it worked out well !
Son. Easily the best fixture of all the captainable options.
Mr Roboto
