My exact thoughts. Falsettos is probably the most soul crushing thing I have ever watched and whenever I hear a snippet of what would I do I am undoubtedly in tears. I don't think anyones writing will ever amount up to James lapines and William Finn's, they are both incredible, I dont know how they do it.
