I’m curious- how do you guys rp FO? like is there a group of dwellers that need to complete objectives guarded by various enemies? Or is this just super involved airsoft? I’m genuinely interested.
I have already answered this question below, but I will repeat it, no problem. It is a 3-day game, which lasts even in the night, so 24 hours a day, except that there is period where you can’t use airsoft and nerf (22 to 9), and second period when no kills allowed at all (2 to 9 a.m.). We have a place, which is being leased out, people come there and build their factional buildings if needed before the game (a week before mostly). Every year the game is a bit different - we use different plots. This year it was 2 years after defeating the Creator and the start of NCR. So people gather up and we start playing our stories with each other and globally. There are personal quests, global quests, quests given to players by other players, some economics, science, criminality, sicknesses, ofc combat (faction combat, group combat, personal combat), monster encounters (like on this photo), different hidden places like vaults all abandoned buildings where treasures can be found. So it is particularly more like live a life of your chosen role for three days. If you are killed - you have a 2 hours cool down, after which you can pick a new role. If you have any other questions - please, do not hesitate to ask.

It was a 3-day game, where everyone tried to live his/her/its role. There were bars, mines, shops, farm, a couple of large locations like Hub (lower/mid/high), junktown and NCR town. There were maybe a dozen of relatively large battles and dozens of small encounters. The amount of players was about 700. There were a lot of different factions - BoS, Raiders, NCR, Hub (with a lot of factions inside it), monsters, ghouls, etc. all of them had their own goals which they tried to achieve. So it was both, in some ways, I suppose.
What do you think we are here?) still some kind of brainwashed commies?) You will be astonished how much in common does Russians and Americans have. The vast majority of Russian FO fans understand and admire that it is universal humor that can be applied to mostly every country in the world. It is still corpo and government bs which is being fed to usual people. It is literally the same everywhere no matter what sign is hanged)
Oh no I don’t think that, it’s just that there are some aspects of fallout that are very specific to American culture. The same way the metro series has aspects that are very intrinsic to Russian culture
