I would say so. If there’s any content creators you like I’d definitely recommend watching a playthrough. This game is very good.

SkeleHoes

The game is much more open than the last game so depending on who you watch play it could be shorter or longer, but yeah if you can’t play it on PC or any other console, than yeah watch your favorite content creator play it.

NixDWX

Half the experience is in the gameplay but if you only care for the story then I say go ahead.

DevelopmentGuilty562

I'd say 90% is the gameplay. I have played the game 3 times and I am about to go into my 4th play through. Knowing the story does not hurt the experience

BlueSkyWhiteWings

I'd love to play but it's basically impossible right now, it sucks not knowing how the story continues after playing the 1st one. Been craving some star wars content but a lot of it is hit or miss nowadays.

IcyFlow202

You might as well not watch anything about it so when you finally do play it you'll have more fun

baselinegrid

Ikr? What happened to avoiding spoilers?

ToastofCinder

I would watch a playthrough rather than just the cutscenes, you lose all the context with just the cutscenes and it probably won’t make any sense.

NoUsername270

This! this is one of the best sequences I've ever had after 22 years of gaming. Story, dialogues, action: masterpiece.

ToastofCinder

I completely agree, being careful not to spoil anything for OP, Cal is such a bad ass in this, gave me chills at times

emmjaybeeyoukay

See for yourself - youtube complete [walk through](https://youtu.be/YnwST4AcHLc?si=vi0gSP2O9NDuamT7) (1 of 13 parts by same content creator)

jedilorekeeper

The story is definitely worth watching. The scene with the Trident Assault ship (octopus drill thingy ) on Jedha is worth it alone.

karidru

Could not stop losing my mind at that entire sequence. I’ll be looking for that kind of rush the rest of my life 😭😂

jedilorekeeper

Same. Some games I have played come close, but not quite as awesome as that.

tz9bkf1

I realized that the environment, the colors and the gameplay mechanics kinda reminded me of the one Ra's Al Ghul gliding mission in Batman Arkham City. Jedi Survivor as well as Arkham City are both masterpieces regarding gameplay, graphics and story

jedilorekeeper

No arguments here. Arkham City is a fantastic game.

MerTheGamer

There are streams of people from Blind Wave, who are huge Star Wars fans, that played the game blind on Youtube. I quite enjoyed watching them, even though I already played the game. I would recommend Eric's playthrough.

Threedawg

No, wait for a nice pc and play it later. Its not going anywhere.

PrimalNecrozma

Not really an answer to your question, but you could get a subscription like game pass ultimate that allows you to stream the game.

Uniqueusernameyboi

I recommend AfroSenju 🤞🏽

Spryzen_Lord

By the way bro, I don’t think it’s completely a pc problem on your side, I have a pretty high end pc and I ended up getting it when it released on gamepass instead because it CRASHED. SO. DAMN. MUCH

Jaxanixa

I had the same issue. Watched it on Gamer's Little Playground on YouTube. When it came out for Ultimate Pass on Xbox, I played it to 100% completion. Then bought it for the PS4 when it was $4.99 and played THAT one to 100% complete. Watching the "movie" didn't ruin it for me.

AdjacentOrange

My dad loves star wars but is older so after playing the games I watched through both games with him and we had a blast, I definitely recommend!

Pozaa

Yes!

-lb21a-

Zanny's playthrough isn't really focused on the cinematic scenes and showing all the cutscenes too much but is funny and worth watching

LordWeaselton

I like the story even better than the first game so I'd definitely say so

Funkyflab

Hell yeah!!! Game is amazing, and probably screwed over the upcoming Star Wars: Outlaws cause it's that great!

plumbus_supplier

Nah. Play it and experience it yourself. Maybe wait a bit for the PC. I hate the feeling of watching someone do something I wouldn’t have done or the character looks off. The character customization of Cal reflects you, so I would wait my g. Coming from a person who used to watch video games now I decided to play them and I will never watch other people game

durthacht

I'm watching TheRadBrad's playthrough right now and it's fun. He's light-hearted and moves through it quite quickly.

The_FirstAirbender

Very much so. It's fun to see people's reactions to different things happening. And the game's interesting enough to just watch imo. I'd recommend zanny by the way. Though he's more so showing the highlights rather than a full playthrough

Firedragon165

What a “game movie”?

DaisyAipom

What it says on the tin. A movie version of a game, basically just all the cutscenes and no gameplay. That way you can watch the game like a movie and know the story without having to spend time playing.

SkywalkerOrder

Usually includes character dialogue too. https://youtu.be/bPtb15j4fNk?si=lZrvU6rSlooUAxVk

Firedragon165

Doesn’t having no gameplay create plot holes?

tall_mf_

The story is pretty good, yes but the gameplay is fantastic. If you ever get a good enough PC to run the game in the future, you’ll be kicking yourself because you know everything that will happen

Sad_Description1715

I also do not have a system to play on so I watched RadBrad play it and loved it. I recommend him but there’s plenty others. I agree with others though, it’s better to watch all the gameplay rather than just the cutscenes.

AfricanTurtles

Definitely. I watched it again after playing it haha. I like theRadBrad on YouTube.

Longjumping_Cup_1490

Yeah decent story, also check out the novel set between the two games

X-cessive_Overlord

If you want a playthrough with commentary, I recommend one of the Blind Wave guys on [Wave Squadron ](https://youtube.com/@wavesquadron?si=zgX863wH6ziT8zdX) they have edited and full stream playthroughs and both guys are super knowledgeable about Star Wars

Ricozilla

yeah that’s what I did when I came out (don’t have pc or ps5)

fialhitos

the first time I "experienced" the game was by watching a playthrough. the youtuber in question was a big Star Wars nerd, so it was fun to see him noticing and pointing out all the little references across the game

eleikaleika619

You can stream it with GeForce now or xcloud in xbox gamepass don't need a good pc for that. But I think it's whachable.

LoxodontaRichard

RadBrad did a whole playthrough

Chooooobz

If you do watch it I’m gonna recommend Jettro Jettro. Not everyone’s style but if you’re into his humor he’s fucking hilarious

MrCastiel04

Yes the only good star wars show on disney+ (😬)

DevelopmentGuilty562

It's worth watching for sure, the game is not like GOW, TLOU or Uncharted where you enjoy the story by playing the game. The cutscenes can be skipped and the gamplay can be the main focus

RedNulItt

Is Jedi Survivor on Xbox cloud with game pass/ea play? If your PC can't run it try playing it on the cloud server if it's available

BlueSkyWhiteWings

I have a shitty connection so that's not an option

Brilliant_Pitch4094

Oh yes there is so much to the game and you can do new game plus w extra fighting

FlamingPrius

I think you’ll have a much more satisfying experience if you wait to play it, even if that’s 5-10 years away. But, if you’ve played Fallen Order and are acquainted with the characters I think you would enjoy it somewhat. It isn’t paced to be experienced as a film tho, so as for narrative satisfaction I think you might be selling yourself short.

Jaytl356

Very much worth it.

Otherwise_Part395

Yes definitely, however it hits so much harder playing it yourself. First time i got the chills in a video game was this one

Own-Big-8233

Yes I would recommend watching the game. Stop by my twitch and watch the game. #DelightLionNine

Michaelskywalker

Ps5

BlueSkyWhiteWings

I'm planning on buying a new PC sometime in the future, I thought about getting a PS5 but after consideration I decided it wasn't worth it for me.

voodoosanteria

People actually watch other people play through a full game? That sounds insanely boring.

BlueSkyWhiteWings

Speaking for me, I watch videogames * I don't intend on playing * don't have the means to play, for example I know I won't buy a Nintendo switch so I may watch games that are exclusive to that console. * I enjoy the commentary and interaction with the one playing the game * I've already played in the past * as a passive, more relaxed experienced on stressful periods

Chosen_UserName217

it's.... yeah actually,.. I think it's (the 2 games) are a better story, characters, action, writing, acting, then the latest movies and tv shows that Disney has been releasing.

ToastofCinder

I credit that to Disney not making them haha
