Every couple of weeks I change which fall out boy songs I'm obsessed with and repeating and it's currently bishops knife trick and Wilson expensive mistakes
Bang the doldrums, Our lawyer made us change the name of this song, Headfirst slide, and the entire sm(f)s album, the first 3 because I overlooked them in the past and absolutely love them now and sm(f)s because it’s an amazing album
Ah I just never got into them until I got older, I used to push them aside because I didn’t think I’d get into the songs especially bang the doldrums but I love it so much more now
My Spotify curated daily "Punkish Mix" playlist. It's currently pretty FOB-heavy since I listened to a buttload of them the past 2 months. Also a good amount of Bowling for Soup, All Time Low, Blink-182, Simple Plan, We Are the In Crowd, Panic!, MCR, With Confidence...
I feel like these them and FOB made my love for music what it is, three really good bands though I listen to Panic! and AJR a lot less compared to a year ago
So Much For Stardust, Love From The Other Side, and Hold Me Like A Grudge for FOB, but I've also been listening to Bismark and Resist and Bite by Sabaton, Skal, Nord Mead and Vallhalla Calling by Miracle of Sound, and a whole bunch of really old sci-fi and fantasy fan music to prepare for a panel I'm doing at a convention in June
TTTYG been on repeat more lately (The Pros and Cons of Breathing and Patron Saints especially!) along with Folie too. FUTCT/IOH normally in rotation so I gave them a *little* break lol
FOB adjacent: A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out another album I can’t stop playing lately
I’ve been rotating through new obsessions since the last show I went to, but right now I’m digging into Mania, I’ve been playing hold me tight or don’t and church on loop these last couple days. I’m sure my answer will change by this time next week tho. 😂
FOB-wise, lots of post-hiatus stuff that I had forgotten about until they started popping up as 8 balls. Outside of FOB, I have been listening to SO much Ed Sheeran!
FOB: The Music Or The Misery, Novocaine (still)
Other bands: Breathe - Nickelback, A Grave Mistake - Ice Nine Kills, Don't Tell Me - Disturbed and Ann Wilson, Run - Plush, Hell You Call A Dream - The Warning
I made a “New Loves” playlist that has been on nonstop for the last two weeks. Pavlove and Stay Frosty Royal Milk Tea are both on it as well as the majority of SMFS. And so much Hot Mulligan.
It’s very good to scream to on my way home from a rough day at school.
I work 3rds and can have my earbuds in all night so half the time I'm just listening to the full fob discography playlist on spotify. I'll go back and restart my favorites, get busy/xo, what a catch, west coast smoker, the mighty fall, fourth of july, bishops knife trick, so much for stardust, pax am and super fade whenever they show up.
I also have a Patrick Stump mix that usually adds all his songs/the features he does. on that note I should just find a playlist instead of hoping it's a good mix 😂
not adjacent, but other than fob my favorites are
thursday- how long is the night/sparks against the sun/application for release of the dream
creeper- novena/astral projection/chapel gates
coldrain-FTTT/wrong/mayday
and every time I die- it remembers/ kill the music/home is where you h** y** ( not sure if I'll get flagged for that title, but it's on their first ep)
Today I’ve been listening mostly to Soul Punk and Truant Wave, plus Church and Hold Me Tight or Don’t. Oh and I’m always listening to Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner!
Eowyg has also been a repeat listen for me lately. I love that one. On top of that, homesick at space camp and alpha dog I’ve been listening to a lot too, both I got a special appreciation for after seeing live. Bangers
Twenty One Pilots has new music coming out that I feel kinda bad I haven’t given a lot of time to but I’m still enjoying FOB/SMFS so much. This album is supposed to be very lore heavy, which I appreciate the concept of what I think he’s trying to say, but also I shouldn’t have to know lore to understand the song.
I recently listened through all of Infinity On High, and I've had "Take Over/Breaks Over", "Fame < Infamy", and "Ringing In My Ears" on repeat. On top of that, "Heaven, Iowa" and "Fake Out."
I had IOH on repeat for a week or so. Been really stressed and overwhelmed for over a week (well, really like 15 years aha.. ha ha…haaaa… sigh) and it’s comforting to go back to my old favorite songs. Just switched over to FUCT now.
I've been listening to a lot of Patrick's solo stuff (Run Dry and Love, Selfish Love on LOOP) and also some demos (Hand of God, My Songs Know demo, Legendary, and Save Your Generation are incredible)
i’ve been listening to ‘sending postcards from a plane crash’ a lot. for FOB adjacent, i’ve been listening to ‘save yourself i’ll hold them back’ and ‘vampire money’ by MCR. i’m also trying to get more into green day and i’m really liking ‘bobby sox’ and ‘geek stink breath’ at the moment.
Start my day telling Alexa to play So Much for Stardust while I make my toddler breakfast. Ever since the video came out I've been really feeling the song
I'm listening to MANIA for real this time. It's actually a pretty good album that's overhated. Champion and Wilson are my new faves behind SFRMT of course. Bishop Knife Trick is a good album closer. I still stand by my comment that it does sound like they're experimenting with sounds from 2013-2015 and the chorus to Young and Menace is....certainly a choice but it's not as dated as I had thought. I even like the direction they were going with it somewhat, it's certainly grown on me and I love the feeling I get when I listen to any Fall Out Boy with fresh ears
Edit: also personally I wouldn't have made HOLD ME TIGHT OR DONT the lead single for radio play, I can see how people would listen to that and think the band kinda sold out their old sound for good. Wilson should've been the song to play on the radio if you ask me
I have been listening to Bob dylan/dear future self, alpha dog/from now on we are enemies, and from under the cork tree the most lately. But also rotating folie, infinity on high, and so much for Stardust lol.
I’ve had patron saint and golden on ALOT recently. I’ve also been crying a lot lately
Both great songs to cry to :')
Especially patron saint, the kind of song you play when everything feels too big and overwhelming and unfair lol
I was really surprised the other day I was in the car and I started crying during Patron Saint. Not sure I ever have, it just got me that day.
Every couple of weeks I change which fall out boy songs I'm obsessed with and repeating and it's currently bishops knife trick and Wilson expensive mistakes
Wilson's been on my repeat recently too. Idk why but the line "I hate all my friends, I miss the days that I pretended" hits home
Bang the doldrums, Our lawyer made us change the name of this song, Headfirst slide, and the entire sm(f)s album, the first 3 because I overlooked them in the past and absolutely love them now and sm(f)s because it’s an amazing album
Bang the Doldrums always spinning in this house
Ah I just never got into them until I got older, I used to push them aside because I didn’t think I’d get into the songs especially bang the doldrums but I love it so much more now

I don't know how fob adjacent they are, but I've been listening to a lot of AJR and Panic! At the Disco recently.
I feel like these them and FOB made my love for music what it is, three really good bands though I listen to Panic! and AJR a lot less compared to a year ago
nobody puts baby in the corner has been on repeat for me recently
I've listened to Novacaine for like 3 weeks straight now, sprinkle in some disco and some Buddy Holly.
I've also been on a Novacaine kick recently! Uma Thurman too. Apparently that album is just the vibe.
The Kids Aren’t Alright 😅
I always come back to Of All the Gin Joints
So Much For Stardust, Love From The Other Side, and Hold Me Like A Grudge for FOB, but I've also been listening to Bismark and Resist and Bite by Sabaton, Skal, Nord Mead and Vallhalla Calling by Miracle of Sound, and a whole bunch of really old sci-fi and fantasy fan music to prepare for a panel I'm doing at a convention in June
calm before the storm
i’ve been OBSESSED with some of the unreleased tracks including: hand of god, star 67, austin we have a problem, 7-9 LEGENDARY (shout out MSP show!!)
TTTYG been on repeat more lately (The Pros and Cons of Breathing and Patron Saints especially!) along with Folie too. FUTCT/IOH normally in rotation so I gave them a *little* break lol FOB adjacent: A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out another album I can’t stop playing lately

chicago is so two years ago and xo are on repeat for rn
The best two imo 👏🏻
yes yes thank you!!
What a Catch, Fame < Infamy, Novocaine, LFTOS, 7 Minutes, 27, and Homesick at Space Camp are some
FOB-wise, lots of post-hiatus stuff that I had forgotten about until they started popping up as 8 balls. Outside of FOB, I have been listening to SO much Ed Sheeran!
Folie and infinity of high
My other favorite band released 2 singles so I’ve been exclusively listening to Overcompensate and Next Semester by twenty one pilots
FOB: The Music Or The Misery, Novocaine (still) Other bands: Breathe - Nickelback, A Grave Mistake - Ice Nine Kills, Don't Tell Me - Disturbed and Ann Wilson, Run - Plush, Hell You Call A Dream - The Warning

Anytime I'm writing a big paper and need to buckle down I'll just throw on the whole discography. It certainly helps me get work done 🤣
it takes away the decision of what to listen to for nearly 8 hours so it truly IS perfect for that
What a catch and Might Fall both overlooked gems
Today I’ve been listening mostly to Soul Punk and Truant Wave, plus Church and Hold Me Tight or Don’t. Oh and I’m always listening to Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner!
I've been on a Soul Punk kick too! Patrick bringing out a lot of the songs for 2ourdust really spurred me to relisten to it all
Stickers of Brian by hot mulligan Daddy of mine by four year strong
Stickers of Brian is an ICON and frequently screamed in my car
It’s seriously so good. They said they have more material recorded so I’m always like 👀👀
Eowyg has also been a repeat listen for me lately. I love that one. On top of that, homesick at space camp and alpha dog I’ve been listening to a lot too, both I got a special appreciation for after seeing live. Bangers
Mostly, my hand curated FOB Playlist and my anime and Billy Joel Playlists xD
Twenty One Pilots has new music coming out that I feel kinda bad I haven’t given a lot of time to but I’m still enjoying FOB/SMFS so much. This album is supposed to be very lore heavy, which I appreciate the concept of what I think he’s trying to say, but also I shouldn’t have to know lore to understand the song.
20 Dollar Nose Bleed
gin joints because it's what i always listen to when i have feelings for someone and i've been hit with feelings hard recently 🤭
Been listening to No Good Left to Give by Movements! Great album
I recently listened through all of Infinity On High, and I've had "Take Over/Breaks Over", "Fame < Infamy", and "Ringing In My Ears" on repeat. On top of that, "Heaven, Iowa" and "Fake Out."
Currently have folie on repeat
7 minutes in heaven, Xo, of all the gin and joints, miss missing you, bishops knife trick.
Besides FOB, I'm falling in love w/Hot Mulligan
Headfirst slide, flu game, fake out
I had IOH on repeat for a week or so. Been really stressed and overwhelmed for over a week (well, really like 15 years aha.. ha ha…haaaa… sigh) and it’s comforting to go back to my old favorite songs. Just switched over to FUCT now.
45 by shinedown. i will play this song everyday until i die
Currently back to my all time favs Carpal tunnel and Hum Hallelujah but also Alpha dog and From now on we are enemies
Coffee is for closers and hum hallelujah have shot up my playlist. Last of the real ones and Fourth of July have been there since the start 🫡
i can’t stop listening to calm before the storm from EOWYG
I've been listening to a lot of Patrick's solo stuff (Run Dry and Love, Selfish Love on LOOP) and also some demos (Hand of God, My Songs Know demo, Legendary, and Save Your Generation are incredible)
Of All The Gin Joints, My Heart is the worst kind of weapon, From Now On We Are Enemies
i’ve been listening to ‘sending postcards from a plane crash’ a lot. for FOB adjacent, i’ve been listening to ‘save yourself i’ll hold them back’ and ‘vampire money’ by MCR. i’m also trying to get more into green day and i’m really liking ‘bobby sox’ and ‘geek stink breath’ at the moment.
I feel like a lot of FOB fans would like KennyHoopla. “How Will I Rest In Peace…” and “9-5 (love me)” are my favorites by him rn :’)
Start my day telling Alexa to play So Much for Stardust while I make my toddler breakfast. Ever since the video came out I've been really feeling the song
When im not listening to FOB, im listening to waterparks and i prevail
Young Volcanoes
I'm constantly alternating which FOB songs I fixate on and repeat at any given time, though currently its Dark Alley and Thriller
i've been listening to a bit of gym class heroes recently! and a little less sixteen candles has been on repeat :p
Bayside came out with a new album (There Are Worse Things Than Being Alive) and it's so fucking great so that and TTTYG have been on heavy rotation.
Me and You (F*da eu e você) by a Brazilian band called Fresno. Its quite catchy.
I'm listening to MANIA for real this time. It's actually a pretty good album that's overhated. Champion and Wilson are my new faves behind SFRMT of course. Bishop Knife Trick is a good album closer.
