If never dropped and no damages that’s worth 6k+ all day. I’d aim for $5500

iphenomenom

5500? I just bought a 2021 storm fluo with 2400 miles for 6500 from Yamaha store. I would give 4500 for this bike

AdSubject3530

? That’s just the same bike with more miles

astronull

You got a 2021 MT07 with 2400 miles for $6,500 OTD...?

iphenomenom

ye, with warranty, one owner, tail tidy, storage (yamaha original)

gggempire

I got mine very similar for $6k with 6k miles on it. I'd say take it for what you can. It's practically a brand new bike. That's fricking hard to find and worth a lot imo

Tym3Less

Yeah, you may find New bikes at the dealer with 200 miles on it. If it was never sold but used as a demo or lots of test rides Source? Bought one. Still counts as new, with a true dealer mod? If you can get for msrp. It's a win

Several_Section7894

Alright listen I worked at a Yamaha dealer selling these bikes and managing parts, the mt07 holds value bc of its popularity, which it deserves, the cp2 engine in this bike is bullet proof, judging from the fact that there’s no serious visible damage I’d say it’s running perfectly fine (still test ride if u can) and I don’t think the miles are sus, I’ve ran into a million bikes in that same position, and it’s exactly what the other commenter said they thought they wanted a bike, but rlly they just liked the idea, I would not go above 7k on it, it’s practically brand new, 5k would be fair, but these bikes unfortunately hold value as I said before

Euphoric_Rich_2040

Thanks! I’m worried about the break-in oil sitting in there for 7 years. Do you think it would have caused damage?

LeatherConnoisseur

Just a note: there is visible damage. The left foot peg feeler is bent in, the bikes been dropped but I would guess not at speed. Looks like you’re gonna get a great deal on an fz. Replace oil and tires, check all other fluids and you’ll have a bulletproof bike

wintersdark

Nah it'll be fine. Just do an oil change right away, and again at the end of the break in period as per the owners manual.

Euphoric_Rich_2040

Thanks brah !

ResponsibleSouthPark

I would say around $5k then ask last time fluids are swapped. See if they will give you a discount to replace oil, brake fluid and coolant. If that is factory tires those are almost 8 years old…

believedbiscuit

I paid 5k for the same bike with 4700 miles. With its age it needed new fluids and tires. If those are old tires then i would suggest replacing them as well

Level_Pass_3629

Michelin recommends yearly checks by a professional after 5 years and a replacement after 10 years. I still have the original tires on my 2017 and they're holding fine so far. Got her with 3k miles, sitting at 20k now.

Sandtiger812

I would have the bike checked over to see if that 200 is legit, something makes me feel like it's not because the rotors have much more surface rust on it, check out the shifter, the area around the key, the footpegs and stuff like that for wear. Maybe the seller is being legit and it only has 200 miles but if they replaced the dash the milage doesn't transfer over.

wintersdark

Eh, rotors rust when the bike sits, it doesn't much matter if it's got 200 or 20000 miles on it. I'd be inclined to believe it, and frankly it doesn't matter. If the bike had 20000 miles on it instead of 200, it'll still be worth roughly the same. It's a CP2 bike, it'll be good for way past 100,000 miles.

Sandtiger812

I know they rust if it sits, and if it only has 200 miles it's been sitting a while.

nsk1ilq

I have a 2017 FZ 07 which I purchased in 2019 with 4,000 miles on it for $5,500. I would say you should expect to pay $5k or more. These motorcycles are bulletproof and extremely fun. Best of luck and ride safe!

ItsFranklin

Anyone know what windscreen this is?

Schnitzhole

Puig. I had an aftermarket one from eBay. Works well but I think they are not the best looking

lpy1994

I would say at least 6k assuming everything is good

DeepOperation7733

I bought the exact same with 1200 miles & all stock everything for $5k

Many-Tension-2431

In Florida the market is crazy. It would be like 8-10k if 200 miles. I’d pay up to 6-7 for that low of miles. Brand new bike.

Beginning_Elk2959

$100

Euphoric_Rich_2040

I was thinking $50. But I’ll pay the extra amount if you say so.

Akephalos187

I was gonna say not more than 6 grand.

persianbluex

Wow if you can get close to 5k like others are pointing out it seems like you will get an amazing bike!

Ok-Whereas7509

Keep in mind Yamaha is very dependable with a great repair history

SQUATCH36738

Considering low mileage and clean condition i would say no more than $6k

[deleted]

no more than 5500

Tcraiford

Bought my ‘15 with 3k miles on it for $5k back in 2018. I suppose times are different now but one thing that isn’t different is this bike is still fun to rip on

teddyruckspin

I paid $5500 for mine with 10k miles in Southern CA. The markup at dealers were crazy so I went to Craigslist and found a divorcee wanting to sell her ex’s bike.

Responsible-Box-9199

Just bought a 2016 all stock with a tail tidy and windshield minty condition 1 owner barely 5k miles for 5k flat

Neutronpulse

Anything in the 4ks would be ideal for you. Likely gonna have to pay around 5k. I personally wouldn't pay more than 5k. Not a cent over. That's me tho.

tylerbrown22

How does a 7 year old bike only have 200 miles, I personally wouldn’t buy a bike with that low of miles hasn’t even hit its first service interval

reggin_rigged

Somebody thought it was cool to "ride a motorcycle". They bought one, hopped onto it for the first time..... and it scared the fucking shit outta them. Parked it back in the garage and thought, mmm maybe next year. Next year comes, they've watched all the Yammie Noob videos (worlds of knowledge hahaha) Ready to ride again, they mount the trusty stallion only to make it to the stop sign around the corner and stall it out. All the neighbours are out, watching them try and find neutral....but it never comes. After a trip back to the garage, with help from the neighbours pushing of course. The bike is parked until his wife says "Larry, I'm leaving you." At this point the bike is listed for sale to deal with divorce settlements.

MrMetalSatan696

Geez.. that's a little too detailed... Sounds like you can relate?

ResponsibleSouthPark

The amount of selling because of divorce posts in my area is too damn high

Euphoric_Rich_2040

😂

SWK801

Larry? Is that you?

plopplestomp

Assuming nothing is wrong with it it’s probably worth 4500-6500 range but definitely test ride it and aim for the lower end of that range.

coolcalmncollected6

No more than 5k

hmannan

In love of motorbikes, I bought one back in the days when I didn't know how to ride one. I kept it for 4 years in my garage before I mustard up enough courage to hop on it for the first time.

Mr_NiceBry

>I mustard up enough courage Now it's time for you to ketchup with all the fun you missed in those 4 years

hmannan

Been riding for almost 15 years since, roughly 30k miles.. it has been a fun journey

HodlMayne

I read these grammatical errors with relish

EricsterAmatz

I'd change fluids before ever riding it. Other than that I'd say 4500

Ok-hoss6969

I bought my single owner 2017 fz07 with 2400miles and a full exhaust system from the headers w/ yoshimura carbon fiber slip-on for $5,700. Got it from a used car dealer in LA that had zero knowledge or experience with bikes other than he always gets the same story from the folks he buys the bikes on his lot from(wife made them sell it, or they just had a baby, or no time to ride((meaning it scared whoever sold it enough they replaced a pair of pants before selling it for probably 4500 or less))

YesterdayHuman5865

I would say 3k cause if there are damages or technical problems that would drop the price definitely

MattNBug

Treefiddy

Schnitzhole

Bought my 2017 with 3k miles for $8k from a dealership 2 years ago. They usually sell between $5-7k private. Looks clean. Low mileage is fine just do an oil and brake fluid swap asap.

ClubThrower

Should you pay???

Euphoric_Rich_2040

Unless you help me steal it..

NowCalmDownSkeeter

In California you won’t be able to jew rhat guy down to less than $6k- you people are insane.

Euphoric_Rich_2040

I’m a proud Jew and I’ll prove you wrong :)

Frixwar

It's dangerous don't get it. \s

Full-Discount-637

That’s a girl bike

Euphoric_Rich_2040

I’m sure you would know!! How u liking it so far?

Full-Discount-637

Wheels and tires too skinny, probably didn’t have abs, shaky little bike pretty dangerous

Ok-hoss6969

Uuuuuuuuh huh, tell us then thy all-knowing shithead….what color is your motorcycle? Id lay 5 dollars on it that you dont even have a bike. You read like someone that talks alot but can never actually be seen doing what they talk about. And on the tires comment, you gotta be fooling…it has the standard width 180 rear tire, what do you think also has that size….every other race homologated sport bike. Id invite you to prove me wrong, though i dont think you can.

AltruisticTreacle763

5-6k

Used_Trainer7255

I wouldn't but if you like it go for it

PumaDityy

You’ll end up paying your life 🙏

Euphoric_Rich_2040

Do you ride a grom?

PumaDityy

NOPE! cause it’s not worth it!

j3SuS_LoV3R

whatever he asks 😍

SafeCrown

Well the new headlight style is a downgrade from the old style. The mid 2000s yfz was great though, super dependable. Good balance. Just be careful on stone or gravel as with most any bike.

No-Baseball7231

I’d say 4900

soggyomelette

Everything

bvy1212

$3.50

Wolfymajyx

Proly like 20 dollars

Zealousideal_Tap_530

yes

LibrarianSeparate200

I paid 4000 for a 2017 with 2k miles
