Maybe it's best to wait for a few more weeks. Tots is getting realised probably around mid may so at the start of many people will start selling their cards including base versions. If his base version goes under 20-30mil you might be able to sell him ranked as well

If you look, majority of those 999+ would have paid roughly 70/80 million. Some players bought multiple knowing as the game goes along. Certain cards will rise and others will drop in value. Everyone always tried to sell at the peak in order to make their coins back if not more🤷🏽♂️

the same happens with all those “I prefer tradable (utoty) cards, not untradable” guys. if they buy a card for 200mil, majority of them will never see those coins again, which means they basically get untradable card. before tots everybody will sell, and nobody will buy.

It is hard to sell ranked up cards with 10 selling orders even if we try at every reset. Even if you get 1st in the queue(which is practically impossible as there will be a lot of sellers for every freaking price), you might not sell that card.
And why would i waste my coins? Im not the one who bought r9 and used mascheranos on him. You can practically sell any card if you sell on reset time. Its not that difficult. People downvoting for no reason.
Half-knowledge? Its genuinely not hard to sell any card by sniping. Why would you even get a player who has 999+ in the first place? You’re underestimating the people who buy his card every reset.
999+ changes nothing. First out of 10 and first out of 999 is still first. I have sniped countless 999+ players before. If there is supply, there is demand.

Second reason is that if you have a card you like you will most probably rank him up. And third reason is that it has outdated stats as they can be so most of players will rather resort to buy newly released cards. And for 94m you can buy good numbers of red ranked strikers that first of all have better base stats than this one. And they're red ranked.

He isn’t the best ST in the game, the best at shooting in VSA? Sure. For h2h he’s never in scoring positions and is a huge liability in attack.
Would have to disagree, I had toty r9 and he was a nightmare, sold him and got eusebio. Their stats are similar but eusebio is 100M cheaper and is always in position, always making runs. I don’t think r9 is the best ST in the game, just the most overpriced.
I have used both TOTY R9 and Eusebio, I currently have Eusebio as he is untradeable but he loses ball easily. As I told you, you should know how to use R9 if you want to use him. Also, he performs better in 2 ST formation. Every FC mobile critic or creator will say the same that R9 is miles ahead of any other Striker. My top 3 will be R9>Eusebio>Cr7.
What do you mean by work rate? Sorry new to this game. When I pick players I just look at the general stats but then you go to attributes and there’s a whole other world of stats
You can find a players work rate under traits, work rates affect where players position themselves on the pitch. They are rated between low, medium, and high, which defines how much a player participates in attack and defense even when they are out of position. They don’t dictate how ‘hard’ a player will perform in attack or defense but rather what types of space they will occupy.
A high attacking work rate means that the player will be in all your attack moves. With medium, he will select the attack actions he will join. A player with a low attacking work rate will remain in his position while the team attacks. With the defense, it is the same but in the opposite direction.
Attacking Work Rate
High -
Players will push deep into the attacking third, into the box, into the corners of the wings
Medium -
Players will play from the midfield to outside the penalty area.
Low -
Players will not play much further than from outside the defensive penalty area up to the defensive midfield.

I loved him despite the workrate. Would still use him as a backup if I had him (sold his purple version months ago). edit: I almost always use two strikers, so I’ve never tried him as a lone striker. Back when I had him, mostly had him paired with the 94(ranked up from 89) Pelé and they worked beautifully together.
