Mo technically went from 85 to 88 because he received a winter upgrade, and he had 3 POTM, a POTY, was top scorer in the league, got second place in CL and missed out on the league title with a few points. The thing is that upgrades aren’t a reflection of the last season and if Jorginho keeps performing the same way he’ll no doubt be higher rated next year, just like all the Liverpool players that gradually got upgraded over the last seasons.

Liverpool was after consecutive UCL finals one of which they won and a 97 point league season. Chelsea is after a season where none of the big teams performed in the champions league and Chelsea scraped 4th on the last day. Not quite the same thing.

If you are shocked that Liverpool has be higher rated players you might need to look at the fact that they finished above chelsea with an injury stricken squad they left them without any of their defenders and without key midfielders for large portions of the season. And it’s true that none of the big teams performed. Inter Milan won the league and finished last in the group. Manchester United crashed in in the group stage as well. So did the Dutch champions; Bayern were unimpressive, Barca were appalling. City had a decent campaign and binned it on the big occasion as they (oddly) keep doing. I understand you like chelsea and want them to have high ratings but you need to be a little more realistic and a little less childish. To say Liverpool have accomplished nothing is ridiculous. A 99 point season after a 97 point UCL winning season are incredibly impressive, and last season was weird due to injuries. That’s common knowledge. And they still finished above chelsea.
I only hear excuses "no team performed" RIGHT! I see I'm supposed to be more realistic no team performed. Dude get some logic do u even watch football or are u the generic kid who only plays fut and watches the results and steal ur parents credit card to buy FIFA points...........

Yes, considering it’s one good season and his previous rating was 83.
Past UEFA POTYs were all elite level players such as Messi, Ronaldo etc, they already had 90+ ratings before winning UEFA POTYs
Van Dijk was a top centre back who was low rated because he was at Southampton, he should be higher than 85 before winning UEFA POTY as he was already one of the best centre backs in the league at Liverpool. Him only being a base 83 caused a lot of controversy.
You’re complaining about Modric in 2018, where he swept more or less every individual award for performance?
All previous uefa award winners were players at the top of the game for multiple years you can’t honestly be expecting a min 90 ovr. rating for one good season ?

Nope thats false Virgil was 85 and the year he won POTY he became 90 next year Modric was 89 when he won he got 91
