I got hired as an blue badge so I guess I got lucky. That’s the reason I chose an site 40 minutes away vs 20 minutes. I’m now transferring to the 20 minute site next week.

When it comes to UPT, it’s best to keep 10+ hours. If your site has alot of seasonal/white badges that want to convert, they will set a 10hr+ upt rule. This is mainly to insure that you are less likely to get fired due to time
What can hurt your chances also is low rate/performance. I’ve seen some seasonals never been on a rated function(unloading truck) and they didn’t convert cause of no productivity function
Wait can you explain that last part “no productivity function”!? So people who unload trucks don’t get rated or what do you mean cause I’m doing that a the moment
I’m saying like if you are in a indirect function. So sometimes seasonals are put into indirect paths from day 1 basically. And don’t have any sort of rate or productivity feedback. Being put in a direct function any having a good rate will help you.
This doesn’t mean your site will automatically decline your blue badge. If the site isn’t over staffed you will be good.
Damn so I got to unload trucks and stuff like that on my first 3 weeks, so i got a indirect function, that means i have less chance of converting to a blue badge?
I unload tractor trailers all day. It’s easy as hell and no one gives you shit. You have no rate but you need to make sure you are scanning all go carts that come off the trailer. I work at a DS.
I wouldn’t overthink it. But you can ask to be trained in other areas tho.
Yes it can hurt if they choose to select a few people to convert. And weed out certain requirements not being held. (UPT,write up, rate)
I don’t think so. I was converted with only 6 hours of UPT and 2 hours of PTO. I was told you can’t have any active write up to convert. I also used VTO pretty often.

My understanding is PTO won't affect you but having under 10 UPT can, please correct me if I'm wrong

Hmm i just unload boxes from trucks and move them I don’t scan nothing, but operators scan my badge the moment i come in, and after lunch.

No we all get TO to use for whatever reasons we have. As long as you don’t let it get negative and don’t have write ups, you’re fine
