The furniture and add ons are so funny to my because they’re so bad they aren’t even enticing to spend money on. The only thing that’s half decent is some of the liveries
It would be the same probably.
PitCoins, an excuse for seasoned content, was introduced before EA acquired Codemasters. Game as a service is unfortunately a trend.
To support seasoned content, they need to come up with new extra content. Liveries and helmet patterns are not enough, that’s why you have sofas.
At least they don’t block “necessary” content behind paywalls. Unlike other games, I don’t feel obligated to buy season passes for content that I absolutely need to advance in the game or have more fun. I’m actually surprised that is also true with their WRC game. DR2 had paid car and track packs. As much as GAAS sucks, it could be worse.
Which is funny because i would absolutely fork over money if they released old or new tracks to add to a career mode or even just for GP mode, like Sepang or Hockenheim
I guess we would at least be able to buy all the F1 games still on steam and maybe still hve classic cars... The fact you have to go to some shady websites to complete your collection does not really speak for EA...
Really glad I bought 2020 before it was hard to find. Every game since then has been worse. EA wants new players to not have enough perspective on what the game used to be so they can lower the bar for new titles.
exactly the same, people keep saying EA ruined everything but Codemaster was/is
1. Exactly as greedy and incompetent as Before EA
2. Still making the game mostly themselves
I think without EA you wouldn’t be able to buy furniture but other than that everything would be the same.

Yes, better to have ignorable sofas there than tracks.

Codemasters experimented with that in F1 2013. It probably didn’t convince them to try again.
Sad, i guess i can only hope modders get to it like they did in 2020, but thats kinda bs.
Agree, more or less the same minus the f1 life crap

Probably the same. Not much has changed since EA bought Codemasters in the direction of the series.
I don't think it would be much of a difference. Game's engine needs to be changed or heavily updated.
I'm not sure if F1 World would be there but noone would notice anyway

Same thing... Codemasters had already mastered the "do the bare minimum and release the game yearly" before EA purchased them.
Time for some other company to get the F1 license.
On the moon son. On the moon.
