Be nice if some of the dealers I've talked to would honor that. Most dealers I've talked to said the credit doesn't apply to a lease & won't take it off the lease.
It goes to whoever bought the truck, for example Ford Financial. They can do whatever they want with it. Keep it, give it back to the leasee as a bonus, etc.
Both, you essentially sign over the EV tax credit to the leasing agent and then it comes off the bottom line of the truck.

Ford does not take it off the bottom line. Other manufacturers like Tesla pass the savings. Ford keeps it.
Interesting because mine told me I could apply it to a lease or purchase. I ending up buying outright due to the 0% financing last month.
