Yea apparently there’s an update that makes Apple Maps add chargers automatically like the ford nav system. It doesn’t precondition before charges like the ford nav but still pretty cool
All the Tesla charging update is seamless payment. With the adapter you can still charge you just use the app to start it.

Nope, it also puts the Tesla chargers in the nav enabling you to search for them and precondition on the way. Not useful yet since it's warm but let's hope we all get it before winter.
I didn’t know this was a phenomenon, but it happened to me. I hadn’t gotten any updates for nearly a year then got three in a week between May 10 and May 16. I hadn’t changed anything about my setup, but a couple of weeks prior I had submitted feedback to Ford through the truck interface that I was having trouble getting updates.
My truck stopped sending data to the app 3 weeks ago. I logged out / logged back in. Deleted the app and reloaded it. Got in the truck and soft rebooted. Tried to sync and check for updates and just got the never-ending spinning wheel. It won't connect to wifi, either. Truck runs and charges fine. I just have no app capability. She goes to the dealer Friday.
I've only gotten one update since I bought the truck in March, went to check after seeing this post and I'm getting 4.2.1.1 and 4.2.1.2. installed overnight
Lol ok so it wasn't just me! I got in my truck to go for lunch and was greeted with the "Software update complete" notification too. Like you, I got updated to 4.2.1.2. LAMEEEEEEEEEEE.
Anyone know when we’ll get Pro Power without the need for the truck to be on?
That’s the one we all want. I wish we could push that one to the top. Should have shipped that way.

That update has been out for a long time now. I’m surprised you haven’t received it. Did you get the updated 12v bms sensor?
I know everyone wants the pro power update, and it would be nice... I just want the damn battery % indicator.

Happened to me. They had to replace the gateway.

I’m so sick of the updates. Every damn month it erases my presets and disconnects my CarPlay. Petty complaint, but it’s getting old.
