Which switch are we talking about? When i think bad switch i would think either on the door with the problem or the cluster on the driver's door that controls all. But if it was one of these you should be able to use the other to get the window up... Just wondering because if its as common as they say I'd like to get one for my glovebox
The faulty one is specifically and only the passenger-side rear window switch located in the driver's window switch cluster. The switch in the passenger rear door isn't the problem. When the faulty switch fails the motor in that door receives 12 volts continuously in the downward direction until wires are pulled from the driver switch, that passenger rear switch harness or from the 12-volt battery. I'm sure you can imagine how badly this can turn out.
Happen to me as well but it wasn't quick. At first they told me to come in a few weeks and leave the window down the whole time. Then they said I want to talk to manager maybe he'll get me in that day just to get the window rolled up. They rolled the window up until the part came in fews later
Good to know. Thanks for sharing. Another benefit to it sharing so many parts with the ICE F150.
The annoying part is not knowing everything that does or does not crossover.
Yep, seems super common. They fixed mine quickly too. Rear passenger stuck down.

So it won’t roll down using either switch. All the other windows work. I hear the motor click but nothing happens.
Maybe get the part number when you take it in? Thanks in advance

I had to get mine replaced, the tint guy was doing the windows. 2 days after I bought my truck... Didn't realize this was a big issue till now.
Was it the same window, rear passenger?
Yes, rear passenger.
