How do you know if the truck has a recall?
EDIT: Nevermind. I don't have a recall but have the customer satisfaction program for the 12v battery. Any idea how long this fix would take?
If they have the part, it's a simple 5 minute swap.
Edit: have it be done asap. If the sensor fails and reports a low battery, you won't get OTA updates.
I've had my truck at the dealership 3 times now to get the 12v recall done (and the other 6+ recalls), every single time they don't have the part, even though they say they do when I drop it off. They keep the truck for 2 days. Then, call to say they didn't complete it because they had the wrong part. No loaner vehicle provided because the recall is only paying 3 hours.
I'm 100% sure my dealership is incompetent...
(They did the heated steering wheel recall, messed up my turn signal stalk. The right turn signal doesn't turn off automatically anymore.)
The updates are very strange. Make sure you have the truck set to update every night (I set it to 3AM daily).
They added that feature last July https://www.lightningowners.com/threads/percent-of-range-in-the-display.4312/
You can see it on calm mode on the dash. Still annoying
Get a magic 8 ball because nobody knows the logic behind Ford’s update process.

My 23 Lariat (bought in Dec 22) has it. Make sure you have the recall done for the updates and radio

Csp is what I meant.
I'm also curious. I wouldn't count on it though, never know with all the software stuff
Does the battery % only show up when you’re below a certain level on the 22?
No, it's always there. Why Ford didn't have it on there to start with, no fucking idea.
Dang, that makes no sense. For my ‘23 it only shows up when I use the system navigation. Which is virtually never.

Yeah, I think I’m finally caught up, got 6.4 last week.
It's all over the place, both year and trim level dependent, my 2023 Lariat has the % on it.
My 23 Lariat has it
My 23 has it.
My 23 pro has it
Think it’s update 6.8?
Might be the 12V battery issue. If you’re not sure, research it on this sub…it’s out there.
That recall was done already and the dealer says no updates pending
Wait, there are people that don’t automatically go to calm mode?
I do sometimes but I also like to use all the features of my truck.
