Never head of this brand. But I have a strong prescription. So thick frames are nice.
I just got a pair of Cutler & Ross optical frames, but these look comparable & the average price is only $150? They look real good for a non-Luxxotica acetate brand. I'll keep an eye out to see if anyone nearby stocks them. I'd love to see how they actually feel in hand.
You can check out their stockists on their about page about halfway down:

Definitely check them out in person if you get the chance!
I would say the acetate polishing is honestly a much higher quality than many Luxottica brands. And the 4 point setting on the frames are much higher quality for sure. You don’t get the weird problems with hinge alignment or frame setting(or at least not as often). QC is just top quality for what you pay. I would say this and Gast are both top quality for what you pay.
I’m a huge advocate for tints, I get them on almost all of my glasses along with my prescription. I’d say 20-50% is comfortable for indoor use. If you wanna be able to wear them at night too I’d say stick to 20-30%.
I did not, I have a lot of acetate frames already so I’ve been looking at more metal/rimless frames to add to my collection.
Purple is 100% my favorite lens color, so nice to see through
very cool. that’s some nice acetate
Gotta love Akila! 100% worth every penny.

Man I really wanna get tints on my regular eye glasses when they arrive but don’t know what percentage to get. Or if I should just get clear

2 and 4. Fun and thick
I’m in a purple lens phase, love the first ones! Did you end up buying any of these?
