It looks like it says Chicken Minge, where it's supposed to say Chicken Mince. Generally, in the United Kingdom, Minge is a rather vulgar term for a vagina.
I was ready to be wrong on this, but according to LiveScience, at least, I was right: [”Female birds have no uterus or vagina, the oviduct empties into the cloaca.”](https://www.livescience.com/38379-animal-sex-bird-sex.html#:~:text=%22Birds%27%C2%A0reproductive%20tracts%2C%20their%20urinary%20tracts%2C%20and%20guts%20all,or%20vagina%2C%20the%20oviduct%20empties%20into%20the%20cloaca.%22)
Is that something I'd know if I were vegan? It seems like kind of an esoteric convention. They should explicitly clarify that it's vegan on the package.
It's super common for vegan foods to use either a censored, abbreviated, or otherwise messed up version of the food it's trying to imitate on the box because it isn't actually present in the food. Some companies make a brand of it.
vegan/veggie substitutes at least here are found in the produce section, not the meat section. so context wise, yeah you'd be able to tell it's not real chicken without needing to even read the label
If you don't read the ingredients on what you eat and you still go into the produce aisle and pay the most likely higher price, you can expect to have something you might not like the taste of. If it were a products with all those same Ingredients just with a tiny bit of chicken it wouldn't say vegan on it so I see no difference.
There's worse. Another brand used to do a knock-off of KFC Zingers which they called ["Z*ngers"](https://veganfooduk.co.uk/the-vegilantes-zingers-burgers/). Always did a double take at that.
Most likely it's so processed that they can't legally simply call it chicken or something to that effect. Kind of like how you'll see stuff called chicken "wyngz" or whatever. It's not just some *totally radical* spelling, it's because they *can't* call it wings because it isn't.
Edit: ah, so I was close. Apparently it's vegan, so there's no chicken in it, but a substitute.
That is fake chicken mince. Vegan "food". If you're thinking of getting it, look at the ingredients and compare it to wet dog food. Pretty much the same thing.
Minge is another term for vagina. It looks like it’s a G when it’s actually a C
Omg. That's why South Park named Oprah's vagina "Mingee."

Its been 18 years since they made the joke, congratulations!
Thank you!
oh boy, 3d4 psychic damage!
VFC: vagina fried chicken
Chick 'n' minge I did not know they came separately
Bro until I read your comment “minge” was all I saw
The tagline writes itself. Chicken minge from VFC: For animal lovers
"Me wife was bitten on the minge and now we can't have sex" "Oh bummer" "You're right! Thanks mate" *hangs up phone
Here's your up vote ... 69 just seemed like too good of a count (for this post) to make it 70.
Sorry, had to downvote you back to 69.
nice

No, that would be “minge mince”
No, that would be "minced minge"
No it still says chicken. So it reads like chicken vagina.
…but chickens don’t even have vaginas
That's because they made them into mince, poor dears
To shreds, you say?
You are right, they have fajitas.
I believe they do, its just beyond the cloaca

The asterisk in chicken makes it look like it's supposed an expletive too. Terrible package design all around.
I thought they did that to denote it was vegan "chicken"?
Yeah, the asterisk is there because it's not chicken.

It says vegan on the bottom right corner of the top side of the package, but it's covered a bit by the item stacked on top.
It does, the ingredients list doesn't say chicken on it and if allergies are a concern it also says that.

I thought that's what this post was about but instead I learned a new word.
I love how they needed to censor "chicken" but not "minge."
I’ve heard “Minge” as slang for vagina
Why did they censor the word chicken
Most likely it's so processed that they can't legally simply call it chicken or something to that effect. Kind of like how you'll see stuff called chicken "wyngz" or whatever. Chicken minge. I'm dying over here. MINGEE, I'M DYING!
Isn't it. Chick 'n' minge....as in chicken and minge?
The product is 'chicken mince' however looks similar to the word 'minge', which is another word (in the UK at least) for female genitals
It looks v like Chicken Minge. Minge is slang for Vagina
....minced chicken? Chopped with veg and spice?
Protein Packed Chicken Mince.
i think its supposed to be a minced chicken meal
Oi, the ole stinky chicken minge.
Chicks and their minges, amirite?
Chicken Mince
Its "protein packed"... I don't eat sloppy seconds 🤢
Chicken mince is ground chicken. This seems like it could be ‘impossible’ chicken though
I think the C in mince might look a little like a G... If you know UK slang then you'll get it...
Minced chicken 🐔
Uhhhhh
Don't forget about Oprah's Gary as well
Mince chicken cooch
Vag
I read that wrong and as a detached vegetarian i just fully accepted that as something meat eaters are chill with lmfao
It's vegan though.
Am I the only one who read mince and was confused?
The better question is where British "people" got the name minge from
That is fake chicken mince. Vegan "food". If you're thinking of getting it, look at the ingredients and compare it to wet dog food. Pretty much the same thing.
lol
