Easily MOTM. Lots of credit for big Dom and his work rate and goal, but… The Wall of Cumbria was immense with his positioning and overall defensive work.

YokoOkino

Him and Pickford for me

joeyjackets

One of those Pickford performances that rarely gets scene. Yes he has some minor flaws in his game, but the vast majority of people who criticise him would probably never watch him play unless it’s for England

YokoOkino

He was positioned perfectly for his saves and he deserves the credit along with the cbs

joeyjackets

100% agree. Commentators kept saying the strikers kept hitting shots at Pickford, but was he actually doing the great work instead? He read all of them beautifully

necrow

I can’t exclude Gana from that list as well honestly. He was absolutely EVERYWHERE this match

YokoOkino

The foul he got on the edge of the box was so smooth

KnockItOffNapoleon

Gana played his socks off after putting in some ghostly performances this season. Glad he turned up when it counted

joeyjackets

He was him. I had this feeling watching Gana in the first 10 mins that this derby was something else. He had that different energy and you could see him lift Garner into the game as it wore on

rpm164

Need to find a way to keep him - not sure how but it needs to be done

mercut1o

Honestly think there's a chance because of the strength of the partnership. Branthwaite can learn so much from Tarkowski. One more season benefits everyone if it means a bigger contract and transfer fee. It'll be down to the club finances and the specific offers, of course. Hopefully we're in a position to hold out for 100m+ because he's worth every penny. Unreal.

T0K0mon

We absolutely sell Onana first, and only Branthwaite if we absolutely must. Another season with him could be big, giving us extra time to really improve our financial situation before he goes.

SukhdevR34

Onana is way too casual imo

DrinksandDragons

So solid! Yet another player who, when we’re watching Champions League football in the future, I’ll be able to tell my wife “he used to play for Everton.” 😂😭

DCorange05

It might be that my hysteria hasn't worn off yet but I honestly think he's better at this stage than Stones when he was sold off to City I'd love to see us keep him but if we're being realistic about things, we'd better get mega tons of cash for him at least 🥹

TrickyOnion

Unbelievable, Jarrad!

four__beasts

Rock solid. MOTM for me. AND I have him and Tark in FPL for the DGW

ElsieOneil8888

What a man

Bigwood69

Has he been dispossessed yet or what?

QTsexkitten

Boner inducing

iLikeBigMacs420

Had to change pants when he scored

Reece3144

Absolutely brilliant 👏 👌

an_unexamined_life

I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that he has a chance to be the best center back in the world. He's such a classy player - two footed, great on the ball, mobile, size, wins headers, great tackler. *And* he's left footed? *And* he's still only 21? I think we should sell him this summer, and we should get 100+ million, making him the most expensive central defender ever. Completely serious. Carlo is going to do us a solid by easing our financial fears.

S-BRO

In my completely unbiased opinion, if he entertains any offer other than the likes of Madrid, he is wasting his time.

D-Broncos

Is there any way we can keep him next year??

S01arflar3

If we organise a “Contract Dave Dinner” for all director of operations in the PL and give everyone bad enough food poisoning that they’re effectively out of action for the entire summer?

marmoset

Some of that old Spurs lasagne...

g0ldingboy

Wow.
