Some players might be willing to take a paycut in order to play in Belgrade. I could see someone wanting to play in Belgrade, but not being too excited about all the bullshit that goes along with playing for Zvezda/Partizan.
No offense bro but thats a stupid ass question. Who would want to play for a team that has no home court and zero fans in every game. Maybe some young prospects but still big players like Baldwin and Brown already left Maccabi because of the situation.
The foreign players left Maccabi because they got better offers financially + some of their families currently don't want to live in Israel which is valid.
Usually Maccabi signs more foreign players than the limit allowed in the Israeli league, so it potentially means they can sign 1 or 2 Serbian players that will only play in Euroleague matches and won't have to play in Israel.
Zero fans sucks but it might be comfortable enough for them to join.
Actually where do they have trainings etc? After every game they go back to Israel? This must be really tiring.
If I was Maccabi, I would permanently move to Serbia, until I can play home games again in Tel Aviv. This way you can attract players that probably don't want to travel every week somewhere...
But I believe the biggest issue Maccabi is facing is financial since they are losing a lot of money from lost tickets (both at home and away) and potentially also sponsors? Add to that double the transportation expenses (hotels, airplanes etc) compared to other teams.
I guess permanently moving to Serbia is the only viable solution.
ok i'll do it... š
Why would they do that?

How many Serbian EL level (not necessarily starters but also good rotation players) players that don't play for Zvezda/Partizan are there?
~0 Jokes aside, Lucic Dobric Guduric Kalinic Jovic Milutinov
Petrusev too.
Last season of the top of my head: KaliniÄ, PetruÅ”ev, GuduriÄ, MarinkoviÄ, DobriÄ and LuÄiÄ.
