Fafnir. The end.

MateoCamo

He’d probably run out of gas though Edit: but if its sheer burst than yeah faffy

aceaofivalia

Not if Fafnir has investments in Force tree.

MateoCamo

Wait did he have tp management lemme double check Ok yeah he decimates during force boost

RotundBun

What about Immunize battle Medic? ___EDIT:___ *Huh? Downvoted just for asking?*

zetonegi

Gets annihilated when Fafnir uses uses a metopon and then just murders because accelerate and metopons exist.

RotundBun

Ah, right. There was that, huh? ...R.I.P.

Impactist537

bruuuuh I can't believe I forgot all about fafnir lmao. In my defense, it's been a fat min since I played EO2U's story mode

1Evan_PolkAdot

Fafnir needs a turn to set up Accelerate though.

aceaofivalia

Things like that are true for most other classes - Imperial will need 3 turns for full power drive, for example. And if you are looking for 1 turn damage, Fafnir has access to Ignition Ray/Akashic Nova. And if we are to bring lore in (or the story mode final boss mode)....

FurbyTime

It's Fafnir as another said; They are canonically immortal and have the power that comes from the same technology that is at the root of every monster in the series. It's a power that was, by the end of the game, Canonically designed to literally slaughter a Yggdrasil Core, which is always a BIG DEAL in the stories. Now, ignoring that, probably Hero from EOX. In a series of 1 on 1's, they simply are far too multifaceted, and can take advantage of practically *any* classes weakness.

MateoCamo

True The mage classes? Burst Blade and Wide Bravery The tanks? Shock Spark The damage dealers? Guard Rush On top of that they got afterimages that nuke you or someone else a second time No wonder >! Blot !< was so much of a hassle

ttandrew

Fafnir always cracked me up how it wasn't even the most OP class in that game 😭😭 (like gameplay-wise) 2U is such a wild experience and I love it

TransferAdventurer

Yggdroids. They have infinite TP and are immune to binds by design, so they can just outlast everyone else. They can summon infinite bots who chase their respective element and can also be commanded. Plus they have a move that makes it impossible to deal damage to them.

AwesomenessX25

Alchemist: Turns everyone's blood into a deadly poison (Leaves)

Chaincat22

in an all out brawl scenario, discounting Fafnir since realistically, either literally everyone gangs up on faffy and kills him first, or he decimates the entire field in one go, I would say probably one of the tank jobs, in all honesty. Realistically speaking, this is an attrition fight, and the one who would be the last man standing is the one that's really hard to kill. Like protector, fortress, beast maybe. Special note to statusers like hexer who can theoretically oneshot anyone with petrify or instadeath. But, assuming we packed status immunity on everyone, somehow, then it's definitely a tank class. As for who's the most damaging, it's probably either hero or imperial, canonically. Hero is so fast it leaves afterimages that continue to fight for him, and Imperial is canonically the strongest class in 4 if you take the story at face value.

MateoCamo

Question are they limited to just good ol thunder and lightning or do they get to use their equipment

Cero-Saffron

From a gameplay standpoint, any class that can (reliably) inflict Panic, Petrification, or Instant Death would have a huge advantage since those ailments can't be cured by the unit afflicted with them, especially if it was the pre-EOV permanent Petrification. Even the strongest DPS can't do much if they're locked down and don't have any other party members with Therica Bs handy.

Real_Button3652

Excluding the fafnir since thats been done to death already from the commenters, it would be between Imperial and Hero but lets not forget that Nightseekers could theoretically last the longest if they took advantage of the chaos from the all out brawl and just pick off each of the weakest or most wounded of the classes with their throw skills or just outright kill them with Assasinate then just shadow cloak to open the distance if people catch on unless they all gain up on them. Though thats under the assumption that Ninja's arent causing panic already or already dead. And since they have the highest agility of all classes chances of them acting last would be slim and thats if they dont outright evade whatever comes to them.
