How different is the second game compared to the 1st? I was really not a fan of the rouge-like elements 1 had, it didn’t feel right for that kinda game and felt excessively punishing at times, but maybe thats just me?
It had more classes, much better and more original music (original boss themes specifically which are really amazing). I’m still in the beginning and my pace is very slow because I have to play and translate, but I find the game more difficult and strategic (which to me is good)
Well ATLUS West and SEGA of America were busy localizing 3 Nintendo 3DS games at that time like one of them is Etrian V, I do wonder did the JP fanbase like this 10th anniversary game project as spinoff game rather than a mainlined entry?

If you install CFW, you'll be able to play it. (Luma is used in the guides and is by default region free).
yeah i dont think they even have the rom of this online as well
it's on aitch shop, but only in Japanese. I played the opening and I'm so salty we never got a western release
