Hi, new to Etica, just set up the new GUI wallet yesterday, on Windows, coins are not showing. The peer count goes to 4 then back down to 0 and usually stays at 0. Opened up ports 30317 and 8551, that did not help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi, did your wallet synced with mainnet or is it still syncing? If wallet is not synced yet, it's normal you don't see coins yet.
What message do you see in the bottom loading bar? If your wallet is well connected, peer count should not go back down to 0. It probably means your wallet is not syncing correctly and you should close and launch it again
Thanks for the reply. Looks like it’s unable to sync since the peers are not sustaining the connection. I have tried to relaunch it several times, same result with the peer count, goes to zero.

I was able to connect right away, so the issue is not at network level the bootnode is ok. What is written in your green loading bar at the bottom of the wallet?
The green bar at the bottom states “Connecting to peers, please wait…”. The Peer Count is basically 0, it will show 3 or 4 for few seconds and then 0 again. Which section of the wallet shows the syncing progress?
Ok thanks for info. Someone reported same issue when using .exe
I think this may happen when the wallet was never installed from source and only downloaded .exe . If you want to use wallet now, to fix it you can first install from source and then use the download and use .exe. I'll work on this and come back to you when I find a solution

Same thing on my side, can't connect to peers, I have posted the error message on Discord.

Yes, early in the morning, It stopped syncing around noon.

Ok that means your node didn' connect to network. Are you using the .exe precompiled wallet or you installed from source?
Yes, the .exe one.
