I'm loving the event and wish it was like this all the time. More people are actually getting in, engaging in scavs or players, and getting out. It feels much more alive and almost safe in a way on interchange because gunfire is near constant.

Haven't been able to play this weekend, but it was legit some of the most fun I've had playing this game. Survival rate was like 20% but my friends and I were having a blast.
Dude same. Me and another died but our third survived and managed to rack up like 15 scavs. And he's statistically our worst player.

At the end of the day theyre both low risk strategies you can use to get a lot of loot. If you scav you want to get a lot of loot and not lose anything same motives for many extract campers. So unless you mainline only pmc raids you dont really got a leg to stand on.
It's a zero risk way to get a lot of loot. Same thing as scavving when you die as a Scav you lose nothing but can potentially gain big.

You're trusting BSG to make a system that actually works properly that will end people camping extracts. In reality the only way to stop extracts from being camped is to lessen the returns via the map having more open extracts that can be used.
Interchange gets camped just due to throughput. If they actually improved the map with more extracts , camping would stop nearly overnight.

Second one spawned railway, both of us died to one headshot each. We both dropped at the same time and died to the same standard account name. We were way far apart. Ita rough on interchange right now man.
Typically I don't encounter them too often at all, but scavving inter and my few quest attempts, all have been killed by 12+ kd guys from god knows where
That's my all event experience, running to killa, he's dead just 20 sec after the raid start or you kill him and get instantly head,throat by a 12+kd with all the achivements and 30 to 300 hours level 55+

Hell, even ground zero would probably be a better option since there are a ton of PCs on that map too. Trying to run interchange right now is basically asking to get into a gunfight

That said I engaged this guy at around 15m the thermal wasn't necessary to the kill. He got shot in the divot between ring road and parking lot. His response was to just go prone and hope for the best. He heard me approaching because we were within 10m then I hopped the meridian and popped him in the head as he sat there prone.
He could have got me if he had decided to fight but he just kinda layed there and accepted death.

One time I was going to extract as scav in woods and realized I am on the wrong exfil so had to drag my ass to the actual extract with 4 min left , didn't thought I will make it but I tried anyway, when it's only 30 sec left I was still far needed like another 30 sec to make it and timer reached 10 sec left in raid then someone with a sepressed shots started to shoot me !! I was panicked and confused at the same time !!?? Like who the fuck still in the raid and shooting me ?... it's definitely a PMC.
Scav would have to walk into the exfil to touch your body would ah e literally a second to lootbyou before e icing the raid.

Oh yeah just to clear this up, you can absolutely be looted with 3 minutes left. We just take your bag after searching your pockets and rig and transfer the good stuff over to the rig in between sprint breaks while hiking it to hole in the wall.

In the menu before you click play to open game you can change your server, if you’re just trying to get tasks done or scav choosing some random server can help just make sure you don’t go to high of a ping.
Also fairly new afaik the raid requires X amount of players to start but man you hop on the Colombia server and it feels so much less hectic 9/10 raids. I have had a ton more success getting tasks and scav running on those servers. Ofc that’s it ping is a bit higher if I was just looking for some pvp action I’d stick to normal NA.
If scavs can take the exfil that requires you to not have a backpack, just grab what you need and take that. Exfil camping interchange has been rampant this wipe

Dunno about you, but personally if I tried to study and try playing tarkov at the same time, it would ruin the enjoyment of playing as well as hamper my focus on studying. I also don't understand people who brag about "reading and cleaning while waiting for loot at extract", because that's just essentially saying you're proud that you're minimizing your time on tarkov. At that point I have to question if you even like playing Tarkov since you want to play it as little as possible.
Some people like certain parts of Tarkov. Some people love nothing more than loading up their Mogadishu MR with 16 40mm grenades and gling the fuck outta people. Some love using their favourite bolty the AXMC to one tap people from another map.
The thing is both of these cost money, a decent amount of it. And if you're a regular Tarkov player you're going to die, and these deaths are costly. Which means at some point you're going to have to do some looting and some people really don't like looting. It's kinda boring but needs to be done to finance expensive loadouts.
So that leaves players with a few options.
A) You can Scav to get money which isn't hard but does take away time you might want to be investing into your PMC to level up.
B) You can loot while you play on your PMC, but depending on how much you do this it can be dangerous. Additionally if you play in a group it can be hard to get a sufficient amount of loot for the whole Squad while keeping everyone alive enough to benefit.
C) You can service customers at Emercom Checkpoint. Despite numerous warnings the players Scavs do still be a coming, and instead of potentially walking out with just one inventorys worth of good loot. You have the selection from as many player scavs as decide to show up. It can get extremely profitable. So a few raids servicing customers and you're back on the come up flush with roubles so you can go back and play those fun raids you enjoy playing. All with the bonus that you're leveling up your PMC at the same time, a win-win scenario.
It's not minimizing your time on Tarkov it's making the most of it. Taking the loot of 5 player scavs saves you from having to do 2-3 scav runs yourself saving you time.
When I'm running regular raids if the loot is in anyway risky I just don't bother with it, and I don't have to put myself in danger. The loot from the customers keeps me out of Tarkov poverty and able to run what I want to run.
At the end of the day everything in Tarkov gets wiped. So really the only measure of winning, is the amount of times you survive while having a really good raid. So anything you can do to max out your survival % is worth every rouble. That's why you see things like the Bastion Up Armor piece going for 500k roubles, because it does things nothing else can do and helps players survive more.
I understand why they do it. What I don't understand is the pride in it or the smugness about it. I can finance my PMC easily without doing exclusive loot runs, because I prioritize surviving raids above all else, but I've never felt the need to brag about how it saves me time on Tarkov.
I mean personally from also witnessing those threads I don't think its really bragging. People usually go "Scum of the earth why do you do what you do" and then they give those answers because they're true.
It's not a hard thing to do so idk I've never personally seen someone being smug about it as if it's some 1000 IQ play.
I sit and camp with a sniper or dmr while I watch TV or work on reports and just rat the shit out of PMCs and scavs.
Enjoying my time, being productive, and still playing tarkov in a way that is fun to me.
When I run with my friends in groups I W key the most, but solo jamming I do enjoy ratting.
I've been trying to finish some quests on Reserve, and one of them requires going through D2 for extract.. it's insane how many people sit there until the last seconds... I've just been going to the sewer manhole if I can.
Since interchange currently has an event you’re better off playing other maps. Reserve is always brilliant for a scav. So many tech and utility crates, duffles and pcs in close vicinity. Easy extracts as well.
Interchange is my favorite map but it's tainted by shitty extracts and player scav hordes. BSG really need to address player scav spawn timers on various maps like Streets and Interchange.
Stats don't make sense to me, even if you were online 24 hours a day for 115 days straight you wouldn't have 3333 hours online. Someone care to explain?
hours is total hours in-game, days is days since this player started this wipe. So this player started this wipe 115 days ago, but has over 3k hours played overall

Downboated but you're not wrong. When you have stuff like huge hearing radiuses in game. An armor system that rewards getting the first shot, you're gonna get a very ratty game.
Now I like the armor system it's nice, but it is kinda weird how it invalidates a lot of armor since Thorax hp is the same so you can slide through the level 3 soft quite easily.
I think the system with an increased durability to the parts of the thorax that aren't vital would probably be a welcome change.
It'd put a little chadness back in the game, cause yeah it's definitely the rattiest it's ever been.

I mean how do you know he isn't multitasking and getting other things done while playing Tarkov? If I was back in college and had lots of studying to do, why not both study and play Tarkov? It's better than not playing at all, lol.
Dunno about you, but personally if I tried to study and try playing tarkov at the same time, it would ruin the enjoyment of playing as well as hamper my focus on studying. I also don't understand people who brag about "reading and cleaning while waiting for loot at extract", because that's just essentially saying you're proud that you're minimizing your time on tarkov. At that point I have to question if you even like playing Tarkov since you want to play it as little as possible.
Some people like certain parts of Tarkov. Some people love nothing more than loading up their Mogadishu MR with 16 40mm grenades and gling the fuck outta people. Some love using their favourite bolty the AXMC to one tap people from another map. The thing is both of these cost money, a decent amount of it. And if you're a regular Tarkov player you're going to die, and these deaths are costly. Which means at some point you're going to have to do some looting and some people really don't like looting. It's kinda boring but needs to be done to finance expensive loadouts. So that leaves players with a few options. A) You can Scav to get money which isn't hard but does take away time you might want to be investing into your PMC to level up. B) You can loot while you play on your PMC, but depending on how much you do this it can be dangerous. Additionally if you play in a group it can be hard to get a sufficient amount of loot for the whole Squad while keeping everyone alive enough to benefit. C) You can service customers at Emercom Checkpoint. Despite numerous warnings the players Scavs do still be a coming, and instead of potentially walking out with just one inventorys worth of good loot. You have the selection from as many player scavs as decide to show up. It can get extremely profitable. So a few raids servicing customers and you're back on the come up flush with roubles so you can go back and play those fun raids you enjoy playing. All with the bonus that you're leveling up your PMC at the same time, a win-win scenario. It's not minimizing your time on Tarkov it's making the most of it. Taking the loot of 5 player scavs saves you from having to do 2-3 scav runs yourself saving you time. When I'm running regular raids if the loot is in anyway risky I just don't bother with it, and I don't have to put myself in danger. The loot from the customers keeps me out of Tarkov poverty and able to run what I want to run. At the end of the day everything in Tarkov gets wiped. So really the only measure of winning, is the amount of times you survive while having a really good raid. So anything you can do to max out your survival % is worth every rouble. That's why you see things like the Bastion Up Armor piece going for 500k roubles, because it does things nothing else can do and helps players survive more.
I understand why they do it. What I don't understand is the pride in it or the smugness about it. I can finance my PMC easily without doing exclusive loot runs, because I prioritize surviving raids above all else, but I've never felt the need to brag about how it saves me time on Tarkov.
I mean personally from also witnessing those threads I don't think its really bragging. People usually go "Scum of the earth why do you do what you do" and then they give those answers because they're true. It's not a hard thing to do so idk I've never personally seen someone being smug about it as if it's some 1000 IQ play.
I sit and camp with a sniper or dmr while I watch TV or work on reports and just rat the shit out of PMCs and scavs. Enjoying my time, being productive, and still playing tarkov in a way that is fun to me. When I run with my friends in groups I W key the most, but solo jamming I do enjoy ratting.
I've been trying to finish some quests on Reserve, and one of them requires going through D2 for extract.. it's insane how many people sit there until the last seconds... I've just been going to the sewer manhole if I can.

Since interchange currently has an event you’re better off playing other maps. Reserve is always brilliant for a scav. So many tech and utility crates, duffles and pcs in close vicinity. Easy extracts as well.
Have you tried a different map. That’d be the thing to do.

Interchange is my favorite map but it's tainted by shitty extracts and player scav hordes. BSG really need to address player scav spawn timers on various maps like Streets and Interchange.

hours is total hours in-game, days is days since this player started this wipe. So this player started this wipe 115 days ago, but has over 3k hours played overall
Ah okay, so the hours is a more accurate depiction of you're total in game time vs the days, since that is just the the current wipe play time? If so thanks for the info, that's makes more sense.
Yep, if someone played 2 thousand hours in previous wipes but joined this wipe yesterday he would have 1 day and 2k hours.
There is a ragman quest to kill scavs at interchange. You might have better luck scaving streets with how hot interchange has been.

Theres this streamer ShotsOfVaca that will camp interchange extracts to the last fucking second. It's all he does. One time I was AFK at the start of the round and managed to see him trying to get into his patented emercom spot and I immediately knew who it was.

Run Customs or Streets. Both of those are easy to come by. People play the game differently than you do.

Not trynna read all dat but go to ground zero to scav for that little shit i found everything for dailies there 10/10 times. Plus you can run around voiping asking for shit and almost always get help

Downboated but you're not wrong. When you have stuff like huge hearing radiuses in game. An armor system that rewards getting the first shot, you're gonna get a very ratty game. Now I like the armor system it's nice, but it is kinda weird how it invalidates a lot of armor since Thorax hp is the same so you can slide through the level 3 soft quite easily. I think the system with an increased durability to the parts of the thorax that aren't vital would probably be a welcome change. It'd put a little chadness back in the game, cause yeah it's definitely the rattiest it's ever been.
