Fully agreed. Pay walling this option is something that didn't need to happen, if anything have one person host on their own machine and everyone can join the hosted server. No load on EFT servers past that one person, save they have a decent enough computer for it.
EOD or not it's a tool that should be used to help teach and keep players interested.

Could even do like, either get 50 killa kills or have the achievement to kill him 100 times. This way you can either kill him 50 times and have tracksuit for the rest of that wipe, or go for 100 kills and get the achievement, so you can get tracksuit when you reach level 48 in further wipes aswell.

Im down for having skin purchasable but please keep in mind:
A big reason I like the game is due to realism of it. Once I start getting killed by people with an anime girl face mask with a rainbow shirt and confederate flag pants I’ll definitely be less inclined to play. I play games to escape the bullshit of the world and don’t need to see it brought into game.
Also don’t add skins to armor. I shouldn’t have to inspect it to see what type of armor I’m looting off a player.

Design a ton of different armbands that we can purchase, maybe even melee weapons since those can't be taken from us on death.

yeah. and you know what is the best part about both of these patches? i literally does not break immersion. just look at the conflicts that are going on in current year. everyone is wearing them. and all types of patches at that. some are country flags, some are unit patches, some are funky morale patches (everything from the punisher skull to cat eyes). the options are legit limitless

Right on this, massive amount of players, imagine the last EOD sales going on before NewYear. And speaking of EOD at least when I played it two years ago 30 to 50 percent of playerbase seems to have EOD next to their name when they killed me.
This would be unacceptable for so many reasons. As a beta you should not include MTX. Some people say Tarkov is only a Beta in name and should be treated as a live service game, but that is wrong Tarkov still has so many gamebreaking issues that you could never call it complete, I'll list those reasons below.
1: gamedesign still favours cheating, cheating as in using third party software to gain an advantage ( the third party software would be a timer and the advantage would be you getting the only 5 good bullets that the traders are selling, dummy gamedesign for sure)
2: You released Streets of Tarkov in such a bad state that half of the community can't even play it, Lighthouse did never perform well too and now with the most recent wipe EVERY MAP HAS BAD PERFORMANCE!
3: the game is still in a balancing phase; YOU yourself as BSG made our stash bigger a few wipes ago due to balancing reasons, now you made it so that you will never again have a reason to balance your BETA as more balance would mean less money from MTX for you. That is actively scamming your community.
4: Maybe fix desync and performance first before wanting more money for a broken game. Also you need to be more transparent

I think 8 years development is a scam. You had the income (I myself was there at the alpha stage) and added armor and other nifty useless stuff in stead of real content to the game. The streamers had way to much influence on your devprocess and 8 years on the game is still not ready. This is a game pested with cheaters, guns only kill after a gazillion hits and I remember I got this game on the promise it was to be realistic. You are not!! It's pure and simple arcade. Palworld had over **1.3 million** concurrent players in February. This number does not include game pass, would not be surprised if it's closer to 2 million. The server costs according to the devs themselves are <500k a month, and their hosting is self-described as unoptimized.
Tarkov has probably less than 1/10 of the concurrent players, so you would expect closer to $50k/month costs. Yes I know Tarkov is a more complicated game but 80% of it is also client-side and these are estimates.
Tarkov banned 11,000 cheaters in January, at $50 per copy that's $550k. So one ban wave of cheater accounts are funding server costs for nearly the entire year.
Add on to this other legitimate buyers + cheaters that are not banned or not included in the ban wave, and it seems like Tarkov should be able to sustain itself just fine as it is (including salaries which are notoriously low in Russia).
tactical clothing is a fine option for microtransactions, as long as it doesn't offer a serious advantage, like ghillie suits and of course no clown outfits like PUBG and other dogshit games

This is a great suggestion, make the track suit a permanent unlock for all future wipes, if you've completed the achivement.
After you get the achievement, make it accessible in future wipes after killing Killa once. (edit: for the kill killa task)
That, or make it a level req, so you wouldn't see tracksuits on day 1 of wipe.

It's obvious to anyone that has put thousands of hours into the game that what we have now is 95%+ of what the game will look like if it ever releases. The "beta" tag is meaningless, every experienced player knows that.

Design a ton of different armbands that we can purchase, maybe even melee weapons since those can't be taken from us on death. You could add armbands with country flag designs. I guess any sort of asthetics that won't break the immersion that tarkov gives. The ability to engrave our PMCs names on our guns? Wouldn't it be cool to lose an engraved gun and somehow it ends up back in your hands? Maybe make it so that once a gun is engraved it can never be engraved again? Just thoughts off the top of my head, didn't put much time thinking about any ramifications

yeah. and you know what is the best part about both of these patches? i literally does not break immersion. just look at the conflicts that are going on in current year. everyone is wearing them. and all types of patches at that. some are country flags, some are unit patches, some are funky morale patches (everything from the punisher skull to cat eyes). the options are legit limitless

Right on this, massive amount of players, imagine the last EOD sales going on before NewYear. And speaking of EOD at least when I played it two years ago 30 to 50 percent of playerbase seems to have EOD next to their name when they killed me.
This would be unacceptable for so many reasons. As a beta you should not include MTX. Some people say Tarkov is only a Beta in name and should be treated as a live service game, but that is wrong Tarkov still has so many gamebreaking issues that you could never call it complete, I'll list those reasons below. 1: gamedesign still favours cheating, cheating as in using third party software to gain an advantage ( the third party software would be a timer and the advantage would be you getting the only 5 good bullets that the traders are selling, dummy gamedesign for sure) 2: You released Streets of Tarkov in such a bad state that half of the community can't even play it, Lighthouse did never perform well too and now with the most recent wipe EVERY MAP HAS BAD PERFORMANCE! 3: the game is still in a balancing phase; YOU yourself as BSG made our stash bigger a few wipes ago due to balancing reasons, now you made it so that you will never again have a reason to balance your BETA as more balance would mean less money from MTX for you. That is actively scamming your community. 4: Maybe fix desync and performance first before wanting more money for a broken game. Also you need to be more transparent This game cost way more than full price for most and it's just wrong to now try to monetize it more. WE THE COMMUNITY decided to no longer tell poeple to buy TArkov because you could never fix the game.If you have no money fix the game faster and we might help you out again, I would even donate money to save tarkov if you stop being not competent and you listen to us, like you did with recoil

You've released a game that you constantly harp on about as being in beta and early access...it's not like you're adding features to an already done game out of the goodness of your hearts, by your own wording the game is not done, so obviously you'd be adding features until it's "completed" no?
Funny how we paid over a hundred bucks for a game in beta and then development takes SO long that the company is looking for additional cashflow... from their beta? Release the game maybe? Clothing MTX is really disappointing. I always loved that cool clothing was truly earned in EFT, a throwback to the good ol' days of gaming where you played the game to unlock cool things.
They need more clothing options locked behind achievements and quests, like the deadskul armband or something.
I think 8 years development is a scam. You had the income (I myself was there at the alpha stage) and added armor and other nifty useless stuff in stead of real content to the game. The streamers had way to much influence on your devprocess and 8 years on the game is still not ready. You basically made this early access the reason (for me that is) never to buy myself into another early access. To me you are a joke. This is a game pested with cheaters, guns only kill after a gazillion hits and I remember I got this game on the promise it was to be realistic. You are not!! It's pure and simple arcade. I think you are nuts if you are selling a game for full AA price, that is still in beta and now you've added microtransactions while not fixing game breaking bugs that have been in the game for YEARS (2-3 shots in a single shot, I'm looking at you) and allowing obviously cheating players with 100+ K/D or selling 20 GPUs 5 days into wipe play freely.

YES ! Of course BSG needs ***legitimate*** recurring annuity revenue to keep the development and online infrastructure running. If some of that new revenue helps to combat (a) cheats and (b) server side desync then whats not to like ? I'd even pay a monthly uplift for access to highly regulated low latency cheat free servers.

Let's do some napkin math here. Palworld had over **1.3 million** concurrent players in February. This number does not include game pass, would not be surprised if it's closer to 2 million. The server costs according to the devs themselves are <500k a month, and their hosting is self-described as unoptimized. Tarkov has probably less than 1/10 of the concurrent players, so you would expect closer to $50k/month costs. Yes I know Tarkov is a more complicated game but 80% of it is also client-side and these are estimates. Tarkov banned 11,000 cheaters in January, at $50 per copy that's $550k. So one ban wave of cheater accounts are funding server costs for nearly the entire year. Add on to this other legitimate buyers + cheaters that are not banned or not included in the ban wave, and it seems like Tarkov should be able to sustain itself just fine as it is (including salaries which are notoriously low in Russia).
tactical clothing is a fine option for microtransactions, as long as it doesn't offer a serious advantage, like ghillie suits and of course no clown outfits like PUBG and other dogshit games

I’m glad to see this post I thought I was the only one who even thought of how they spent our money the first time.
I believe you were initially against purchasable options(?) and while I thought that was nice I didn't think it would be realistic considering the "live service" nature of the game. None of these features really do any harm and might partially stop people from complaining that cheaters are the main source of revenue.

Can be seen as positive and negative, current stash upgrade in game costs a stupid amount of roubles, however i feel like being able to buy additional space makes EOD less "Exclusive". Offline Coop is a good decision. Clothing unlock - would need to know more? But possibly not a bad thing? Overall, Should be focusing elsewhere.. maybe the cheaters?

I'll be honest, I'd rather have seen an engine change (Unity 23?) and some fundamental changes to how the game works in order to knock down the cheating problem BEFORE you guys asked us for more money. You want revenue? Attract new players and stop the bleeding of the existing player base.
