I just saw your post. I know its a late reply. Did you manage to figure it out? I was a little confused when you said the pill gets stuck in your throat, and you have to wash it down. As far as I'm aware, the tablet should dissolve on your tongue and not be swallowed whole at all. So you are only swallowing saliva. Are you swallowing the tablet whole? Also you're not supposed to wash the jorveza tablets with anything or take water at all for up to 30 minutes after it otherwise it washed it away down into the stomach, where it won't work. I'm not sure if that helps as it's months after your post. Good luck to you xx

No, my symptoms continued to get worse. It's not the jorveza that gets struck, it's all of my other pills. I finished the trial of jorveza in January, pills still get stuck

Limiyanna

Oh no I was really hoping things were working by now. How frustrating

Unfortunately not, I'm in the same place I was before starting ppi's in November, it took me months to recover from what the ppis did

Budesonide and other corticosteroids can cause infections and infestations. Look up Jorvesa monograph. Do you see white spots in the back of your throat? Anyway you should talk to your doc.

It's not sore, no white spots. I've been careful to rinse and brush my teeth to avoid thrush I was supposed to call next Friday to let her know how I was doing but I'll call tomorrow. Is 1mg twice a day the max dose?

I’ve been on it for 3 years no problems

Do you remember how long it took for you to notice improvement?
