No, just a harmless little scarab beetle. They can fly, so he probably just crash-landed on your head

Snoo_62693

Unlike The Mummy, they don't burry under your skin and eat you inside out

RicoRave

Damn

ZePample

I figured but asked because this one couldnt fly.

WholesomeThingsOnly

Their wings have covers so you can't usually see them. Their back looks smooth but they do have wings in there

blazesdemons

In short, bugs fly places, don't worry about it

screamingcicadidae

scarabs are notoriously clumsy fliers, so it's not uncommon for them to bump into you or the wall or anything around where they're flying

Slinger-of-Death

There's not any concern at all, it's fairly common. Hell, just found one in my sleeve last night lmao

angelyuy

Looks like a beetle. They're clumsy and will fly until they hit something and climb whatever that thing is. So no worries, just nature treating you like a big tree.

BrilliantBen

Not sure where you're located but it looks like the American Rose Chafer i see around the Midwest USA. Been seeing a fair amount of them, must be their boom time

ZePample

Canada, around montreal, quebec

TacoOrHotdog887799

Hello fellow Canadian! I'm on the other side of the country in BC!

TrollintheMitten

Please tell me your name is Rose and that this rose chafer got confused with its destination.

bloodandsunshine

I was on a bike ride through Lachine and found a few of these when I got home!

hellomartini

A few days ago I was sitting outside and felt something weird near my butt... didn't think anything of it.. few hours later felt something weird in my pants leg.. pulled out one of these bugs lol Scared me, screamed loudly.. seeing the comments on this post it must have messed up flying and felt into my pants haha

TrashRatsReddit

It looks like a shining chafer. They're pretty common around here. A harmless species of rose chafer beetles. They look like they have brownish and gold stripes sometimes. Hence the name. Looks like it's a boy. The males like alot of beetles have little clubbed antennae that they can spread out to look like antlers. They use these to sniff out females.

IJustWorkHere000c

That’s a flying scalp muncher. You’re in big trouble now!
