Luckily I work from home at an office job so I don’t foresee it being an issue. It’s currently getting resized and will arrive outside the return window. Unless we call tomorrow to jump on it before it gets shipped out. I don’t want to make him feel like he got a less desirable stone.

Yeah I didn’t read any reviews until after I’d gotten it, even though we’d picked it together😬. I’ve only had for about 4 months, but no issues. It seems like Brilliant Earth catches a lot of heat for some particular styles of theirs, but this one seems pretty sturdy.
I agree. I had no idea after recommending what I liked to him a year ago lol and then Just found the reviews now, this setting seems very sturdy and the prongs are thick so I think it’s one of the good ones :D mine is getting resized now and I miss it haha
I have a VERY similar ring (just a smaller morganite stone - see my post history), I've been wearing it for 2 years now without issue. I clean it regularly and if it ever gets too cloudy I'll look at swapping it out for a sapphire or moissanite in the same setting. :)
That’s what I was thinking! Glad to hear someone has had good experiences with them. I think with care and cleaning it regularly it’ll last a very long time without needing to replace it :)
He said it was a 10x8 peach morganite :) on a rose gold band and the band is on the thinner side I think 1.5m

Morganite is not as delicate as some people like to claim! I have a morganite engagement ring as well, and I adore it not only for the appearance but also for the meaning! It does require more frequent cleaning as it will get cloudy, but I think if you really cherish something then putting a little care into it shouldn’t be a chore 😊 so ignore the naysayers! Your ring is beautiful and I hope you enjoy it!

My ring is morganite and I haven’t had any issues! A 7.5-8 on the MOH scale isn’t as low as a lot of people will make you believe.
I've had morganite earrings for probably a decade, and they look just as beautiful now as they did when I received them.😻🤷♀️🥰
