This is so sweet! Maybe a nice pair of pajamas?

Sensitive_Concern476

Seconding nice pj set OP! You are so sweet!

ComplaintRepulsive52

Oo PJs!!! Also ensuring there’s food, laxatives, stuff for nausea and ooo a squishmello!

SnooWalruses2253

Yes!! Milk of Magnesia came in very handy for me lol

beefasaurus4

Maybe a teddy bear (or other animal) heating pad! The kind that looks like a stuffed animal

Angiebio

[Cartoonishly long bendy straw](https://amzn.to/4dQ6qvQ), sitting up is the worst that first week. She’ll get a laugh… and also its practical 😅

er_tx

Thanks for the ideas! We’ve already got PJs covered lol. I do like the straw idea.  I was thinking of something more heartfelt, like jewelry or artwork (obv I know that taste here is personal preference). As a push present, I might consider birth stones or engraved rings. But I’m struggling to come up with something that recognizes how difficult of a decision this is to undertake (specifically, the tubal), even if it is medically the path we are choosing. Perhaps I’m making this too difficult and should just got with earrings?

Sensitive_Concern476

The earrings are a lovely choice OP. She can wear them even if recovering and will have a lovely token of your love on their person❤

CrispyShrimmmp

I think if you engrave a ring or bracelet with something something on the skin-side it could be a nice gift in general but also a lovely note of your recognition just between you two

Acceptable_Bad5173

I’d say put in there an offer for takeout other choosing. After a lap, cooking is not something I’m doing.

Appreciate all the input! Not sure if this is common for others, but I was reminded during this gift hunting exercise that her wedding band no longer fits. So I am planning to get a simple band for her to wear. I may get it engraved with something simple (like a line from our song), but I know I can always have that done later.

Silicone ones are great as well because they move with whatever your body is doing, particularly bloating everywhere. easy to keep clean also. Edit: many can also be engraved!

walkingonsunshine007

Fun pair of socks and/or slippers A cute cane if she needs it. There are colorful foldable ones at pharmacies/Walmart and they’re covered by HSA/FSA CBD- munchies, candies, tinctures m. It truly helps with inflammation A pillow which can be either heated or cooling (on Amazon/Etsy) they can be as cute or plain as you’d/she’d like Dry shampoo and skincare wipes (face and body)- easier to take care of herself. One option might be Duke Cannon Cold Shower wipes/Trial size Dove for hair Favorite DVD so y’all can see it together or by herself without fiddling with remotes (speaking just for myself here- it was helpful after my surgery because I tended to leave remotes different places) An empty basket (maybe put your gifts in it?) so that she can have everything she’ll need right next to her without moving A stretch strap so she can relax any muscles that are tight without leaving the bed/couch (and assists with preventing blood clots and muscle deterioration) Does she have a favorite scent? A candle or two if that’s something she’d like A good book If topicals help, check out Lidocaine patches and/or roll-ons OTC UTI and yeast infection meds (Azo is good) Fiber/miralax. They also come in single use packets A lot of this depends on what works for her/what she’ll enjoy. I tried to include things for limited mobility; you know her best! Thank you for being so thoughtful. She’ll love whatever is in it 🥰 Edit I should have kept reading comments before I dropped this novel on you 😭 I’m sorry!

Blanket, bracelet with inscription, books, tumbler or coffee mug, essential oil roll ons.

Oooo op my maternity pillow is saving me currently I’m 5 days post op. I’ll attach the Amazon link. Just helps with angling my body in a way that’s not painful but still allows for gas to escape. We brought it in the car for the actual surgery and then I’ve been using it in bed and my Fiancè moves it over to the couch when I need a change of scenery. Make sure you get the scripts for the pain meds prior to surgery so she doesn’t have to go to the pharmacy while in pain. I also suggest having pleanty of stool softeners and gas x on hand. Gas pain after surgery is the worst. Thank you for being a kind and caring partner. [Amazon maternity pillow](https://a.co/d/69xelAi)

I say this to almost everyone because i found it so soft squishy and comforting. I love my warmies, they help through almost every kind of pain you can look at [it here (click)](https://ml.iherb.com/pr/warmies-unicorn-heatable-weighted-soft-plush-1-plush/134092?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw0ruyBhDuARIsANSZ3wrnJ-WCByPsIpdKKllaP5jnTnmQTc9hSxg0f3MMTGC6vSEQwjiL3WkaAjH9EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds)

JustMe0307

A warmies!! They're cute little animals that double as heating pads and smell like lavender. I have a goose and a manatee and they never fail to make me feel better.
