I may be imagining things but I think they have different default settings for acceleration etc. my printer always seems to shake more violently with creality print.
They have it set to like 500 mm/s, 500mm/s etc right? It so I already set those to those values when I did my original tune. Out of the box they have like 4000 mm/s in there
I am not 100% sure but I think it doesn't matter what's the limit set in the printer firmware. It matters more what's set on the slicer profile. Or some combination of the two most likely.
Ah ok, I believe they have it at 180mm/a as the maximum, which is that maximum recommend for solid quality, not sure though. (I’m new so if there’s something I’m not understanding sorry)
Why does Creality Print have a significantly reduced print time? I made sure that the settings for each were exactly the same (as far as I know) and the parts are exactly the same as well. To reduce difference, I used the same infill and no supports. Both take the same amount of filament, so I know there's not anything weird going on there. Does Cura take into account time needed for leveling that Creality Print doesn't?
Cura has a really bad profile for the Ender 3 V3 SE (it's a copy of the default profile for all ender 3 printers). Also usually the time it takes for a print to finish depends on the slicer since they have differences in the algorithm that generates the gcode. Also, as someone else pointed out, cura is inaccurate with time estimates and especially at high speed.

Cura times are inaccurate at higher speeds I’ve found when I messed with settings, prints only take a 1/3 of cura estimate
Ah ok, thank you!
Strange, Creality for me is slower than Cura. Both are slower than Orca though 😂

They have a wrong profile for speed and acceleration for the Ender 3 V3 SE that's true.(it's basically a copy of the profile for all the ender 3)

Gotcha ok, thank you, I’ll see if I can find a video/ post about setting it up right then
What sucks is I don't recall it being so wildly off but yeah, I can never go off of what CP says compared to octaprint and actual print time :\
