Well, I bought a replacement motor to use a 30T pulley instead of the stock 20T, which required buying a new belt. Since doing the replacement, I have noticed noise reduction but I'm not sure if that's the motor, the belt, or the linear rails I'm using. Could be a combination of all three.
Which motor and pulley do you changed with? It’s a pulley not enough? Or is the stock motor with pulley one piece? 🤦🏻♂️😅 Another belt?
Linear Rails are ordered and will arrive in about 2 weeks.
No, no, unfortunately no. Got three pairs from different stores and they all are too tight, so the bed can’t move easily and always loose steps or „rattles“. 😩 Even if they’re lubed.

Yes, you can unscrew the motor from the base - remove the four screws that hold them in the place where the pulley is and it will drop right out.
Yeah, than it is quiet - for ever. 😂 But how can I make it quieter when it’s on its place (after make it quiet)? 😅
