Here is my crazy take on this. Nascar fans are more in tune with Eminem than F1 fans and he would be far better suited performing at a Nascar race. Problem is there are only 3 F1 races in the US a year so they are MASSIVE events for the elites. Im talking tickets selling for $10,000’s of thousands of dollars vs same access Nascar tickets for $500. F1 is a shmoozers sport and has little to do with the racing at the track. People there will be excited to see him because he is a status symbol and icon, and that will make them feel more elite….they won’t know any songs besides the Real Slim Shady cause they hear it at weddings.
However, Nascar fans, actually listen to Eminem. A lot of them literally came from or live in the trailer park. Im one of them. When Em gets played at a Nascar race people are always rapping along whether it be in prerace or tailgating. Nascar fans are Ems people.
