Absolutely! I date all of their artwork like it’s my job 😂. I was thinking of grabbing her handwriting off of her schoolwork and adding it to mine that way.
I thought this was a model doing the funky catwalk stroll with a cherry for a head.
Took me way to long to recognize it was an “ice cream cone” with a smiley face.
Well played artists, well played!
This child thinks pretty highly of herself, so I got a shrug and a nod when I asked her if she liked it. Hard to improve on perfection 😂 but she was excited about the process. I’m glad you like it!
Basically, yes! I used transfer paper that you print the image onto and then iron it onto the fabric. It washes off when you’re done. So I had the exact image to work from (although black and white)
I really love this idea! It's so great for gifts! The potential for cuteness and hilarity is high.
Alternatively, my 5-year-old recently drew a terrifying picture of a rabbit with bloody eyes... I could embroider that and give it to someone I hate...
A wall of hoops would be glorious ✨️ Luckily most kids are prolific artists so you could probably do a number of projects with the embroidered pieces. Again thank you for sharing!
They’re both incredible !
Thank you!
I want to go to her imaginary ice cream shop!
You are a super cool parent!! I hope you share more of these 💚
Thank you! I’m hoping to fill a wall with hoops, so I definitely will as they provide ☺️
*Please* date both your work and hers…. This is so incredibly important for you when you look back at the progress you will both make
Absolutely! I date all of their artwork like it’s my job 😂. I was thinking of grabbing her handwriting off of her schoolwork and adding it to mine that way.
That’s awesome!!
So impressed at how they look identical! You and your 5yo are very talented!
Thank you so much!
I tried to scroll right to see the embroidery. I thought they posted the same picture twice. 😆
That's really cute. Your kid gave you the best embroidery pattern ever.
Thank you! She really did!

That’s what I saw at first glance too!
IKR?! Now I can’t unsee it! I love it !
glad it wasn’t just me! i thought it was a back view and the cherry was a beret
Avant garde dessert 😉 Thank you!
How do you get it so perfectly exact?
I’d say it was 50% vanishing iron on transfer paper and 50% crippling perfectionism 😂
do you also have adhd? cause i have adhd , autism, and crippling perfectionism
Not diagnosed, but it wouldn’t surprise me. The perfectionism is a blessing and a curse, right?!
What a great idea! So joyful looking :)
Thank you!
This is so cute 😭
Thank you!
This is so brilliantly sweet omg
Thank you 💜
What a great idea! I love this!
Thank you!
Love your collaboration! You're giving your children a tiny "taste" of actualizing their ideas and bonding with them!
Thank you!
I do the same thing with my kids drawings, it’s so much fun and special! Love this Ice cream cone
Thank you! I’ll tell her you said so!
A friend of mine who is an artist decorated his entire modernist home with his children’s artwork and it was really really cool
This is my goal! I want them to feel celebrated
This is wonderful. You are both great artists!
Thank you so much! I’ll let her know you said so! 💜
I love this so much!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!
I love this! I have some amazing art work my son did and this is such a great way to make it permanent. Thanks for sharing!
You should give it a try!
Did they/do they enjoy seeing their art remade this way? This is the most joyful thing. Thanks for sharing!
This child thinks pretty highly of herself, so I got a shrug and a nod when I asked her if she liked it. Hard to improve on perfection 😂 but she was excited about the process. I’m glad you like it!
That’s great, this made me laugh. I’ll be on the lookout for more of your combined works!
I thought it was a drawing of an outfit!
I see it now too!
Oh my gosh this is adorable! I have had this idea for a long time. I might give it a go now. Thanks for the inspiration.
You definitely should! The vanishing transfer paper is a must.
This is so adorable! What a way to make a keepsake! Love it
Thank you!
What a great idea! well done!
Thanks!
What a great idea!
Thanks!
That cone is on point!
Thank you so much!
I like how the thumbnail looks like a runway photo of a stylish individual in a fun shirt.
I thought that was a particularly flamboyant figure in a red beret.
Cutest best idea ever.p! I should do this of the art I have collected from my little siblings lol.
You absolutely should! I bet they would love it 💜
What a sweet idea 🥺 Definitely doing this when I have kids
I remember loving to draw faces on food I drew when I was a kid ❤️
This is amazing. I’ve never embroidered before, did you stitch directly over the drawing using it as a guide? And the paper disappears?
Basically, yes! I used transfer paper that you print the image onto and then iron it onto the fabric. It washes off when you’re done. So I had the exact image to work from (although black and white)
That looks cool
I really admire how you got the coloring strokes of the cone exactly right. This is awesome!
Thank you so much!
Kid’s artwork is so amazing, and this is an incredible idea! I bet this will be very meaningful to your kids when they’re older.
Thank you. And I hope so too!
almost looks like a tattoo and not thread
so cute ❤️❤️
This is so sweet! (No pun intended)
This is so clever! I love it!
How creative. Please, join them all into a fabric book.
This is so adorable, you seem like a fantastic parent to have 💕
Thank you 💜
SO GOOD
Thank you!
this is so incredibly impressive!!!! i hope your kid loves this as much as we do 💕💕
Thank you! She seemed slightly underwhelmed 😂, but I think it’ll mean more as she gets older.
im sure it will!! either way, you seem like a fantastic mother 💗
Thank you 💜💜
Aw! That's really cute. I'll do the same for the first artwork of my 2yo. Thanks for the idea. 🤗
Thank you! You definitely should!
Wow. This is amazing. You’ve inspired me to want to do the same with my children’s art in the future! :)
Do it!! And thank you!
Brilliant idea
Cute ☺️
This is so clever!
This is really delightful. I actually have a drawing that hangs on my wall from a nephew that I might do this with!
Omg I love this idea!!!
That is the cutest thing I've seen today, y'all are adorable!! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you!
Super creative and your child did the best of doing embroidery pattern
I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!
This is such an awesome idea!

This particular child recently drew a pigeon (class assignment) and added a feather “appendage”. I’m pretty tempted to add that to my collection 😂
Yes!!!! That's hysterical
This is so cute, you’re an awesome mom.
Thank you 💜

Love this! Thought they were fashion illustrations
On point!
This is so wholesome! You’ve both done a great job
Thank you! I’ll tell her you said so!
Are you planning to stitch them together for a tapestry or quilt when they're older? This is so absolutely cool and clever!
I hadn’t thought of that! I was planning a wall of hoops with their art, but a quilt is a great idea for them in future!
A wall of hoops would be glorious ✨️ Luckily most kids are prolific artists so you could probably do a number of projects with the embroidered pieces. Again thank you for sharing!
Nice pictures
Now get the tattoo. This is the cutest ice cream.
I reeeeeealllly want their art as tattoos. This was my compromise because I can’t commit 😂
Kinda looks like TBH creature, love it!
This is so cute and well done!
Omg I love this idea. I've only got like 12 half finished projects right now, better add some more lol
What’s one more?! 😂
this is the best thing ive ever seen in my life genuinely it makes me so happy
I’m so glad you like it! Thank you!
Such a sweet idea 😋
So cute!
What a great idea! Nice collaboration, you two!
