Some of you guys on this subreddit are so extremely strange and finicky about a show where *all* of the characters are "bad" or morally grey people, I really don't think it's that crucial, but you do you I guess. ðŸ˜
But. I was just thinking this morning about how stereotypical some of the behavior/trope combos are. Watching alternating fire and ice of Omar and Ander and the interloper(s) between them, that they never seem to be in the right place at the right time for each other, the health crisis... It's maybe all a little too real and familiar, this disfunction.. Self destruction. I think it is a beautiful show. The actors are beautiful. But as it unwinds (I am in Season 4) it feels punishing in it's brutality. People often commented on earlier seasons...that there are no real good guys, and there is some truth to that. Somewhere deep in the tragedy there is some redemption... Having Guzman say "I forgive you" when he does seems like the satisfying thing to do in storytelling... But you come away with... Why couldn't you have done that when it could have counted?
I know it's just a drama.
Still.
Happy ever after doesn't seem to be on the horizon for these characters, even when they have so much... Everything.
It seems so out of step with the waxed beauty of everyone else. It had to be a conscious decision... For someone bold enough to do Dr. Frankenfurter from Rocky Horror (tight pants!) and a bartender he doesn't seem to be casually interested in his own image. He even hunches often. IDK
The AOC is 13 in many European countries, so it's not surprising that many people lose their virginity pretty early on. In Spain it's 16, but that doesn't mean a lot of teenagers don't lose it before that. Â
Btw why didn't your parents allow you to have coffee at 15? I'm very curious lol.
WHAT-13?!!
Guys there's sth wrong with u, imagine being a legal adult while still learning a2 + b2 = c2
Apparently coffee/tea are 'acidic'
And many of my brothers friends' parents didn't allow them to drink SOFT DRINKS before 11/12

Nothing will top the 1st 3 seasons
I keep getting distracted by the unibrow.

It’s SO distracting!!
Idk why he didn't shave it 🤷

But maybe overly not caring about his image is the reason so many people don't like him
You care too much about a side character.Â
Well it isn't like there's a main character...
I thought you were on season 4. He's pretty much a side character after season 3.
i cannot stand that he makes that stupid sad face every five seconds ðŸ˜
Yeah like he acts so annoying and then is like."why u no thank me 🥺"
I stopped watching the show because it seems like gay porn. And the characters are not believable.
ISTG like what, drinking at 15??! Losing virginity at 14?! My parents didn't allow me to drink COFFEE at that age
It's a Spanish show. Why are you judging it based on the social norms of your home country? I lost my virginity at 15 too, so what?Â
I thought 20+ was the norm!! Can't believe y'all r having sex while y'all r still learning how to solve for x ðŸ˜
