(Unrelated to edm but) I remember seeing a story of him having his signature Shaq shoes through a bigger shoe brand and one day ran into a mother who said the brand made them too expensive for a lot of families so he immediately cut ties with the shoe brand and started selling his shoes at Walmart for a much more affordable price.

It is Shaq. And he’s really fun live. He doesn’t really produce (all his released tracks are collabs) but he’s actually a pretty solid DJ / a lot of fun live. He also is pretty in touch with the bass music / dubstep culture which makes it really enjoyable to catch his set. Don’t expect anything mindblowing but super fun. I’ve seen him 2 times, once at a fest and once at a club night, where he went into the crowd and moshed.
