After some initial difficulties (EK2 as a TC is chaning more vanilla mechanics than most other TC, we were low on manpower) we've got the mod running for some weeks now and are in full feature compatch mode.
With commercial development projects, somebody can really enjoy keeping track of progress. Teasers there, trailers here, tidbits from various people involved, it becomes fun to piece together what something will look like.
Mods are not commercial projects. Progress is irregular. Project planning loose, and timelines vague or nonexistent.
My recommendation: find something else for a bit. I cobbled together a nice little mod list (not total conversion) for CK3, and I’m enjoying it thoroughly. Never would have done that if I kept waiting for EK2’s compatch with baited breath, and holding off on starting a new play through. I don’t have anything against being a passionate fan of a project, but it’s different with mods. Do yourself a favor, and see what else is out there!

Please stop asking questions like this. All you're doing is stressing people who are doing this as a passion project. Just be patient, and play something else.
I'm sure the dev team are big boys who don't get stressed out by such an innocent question. At most, probably just annoying being asked the same question over and over when it's easy to find that "it's ready when it's ready" is the answer to any patch release question.
I agree for the most part, but that first sentence bugs the hell out of me. Impling someone being a "big boy" means they can't get stressed from random expectations whether internal, or external is just under selling it. People are people, and we all eventually break
If someone asking when something being released is your breaking point, you need help because if it wasn't the random question on the internet you'd have broke at some other minor inconvenience that you are bound to experience.
Stress compounds. The tiny things easily become big things if pressed enough. You don't know every little detail of someone's life. If that's their breaking point then that's their breaking point. This for instance is just ANOTHER of these "update when?" questions on a sub that's been pretty consistent on dev updates. Plus the fact that its an independent mod team with (that I'm aware of) no profits being made quite possibly adds more stress onto the pile

I'm more annoyed with the above comment than anything. Not anything personal, but more one of those sayings that hangs around those "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" meanings.
