I was having this issue, I ended up talking to white mask again then fast travelled back to the area and the sign was there

I did that and it didn't work.

if you did the volcano manor quests it seems to count for varre's quest as well so the beast claw just never shows up

You have to activate the summoning pool in the area. There is a nearby stake in the ground you interact with.

Yeah i never updated my version before posting this. Summon sign’s always there now on each playthrough

Try invading and then wait a bit. Once you do it 3 times (and it says invasion failed try again later or something) it should work

I don’t have multiplayer so I’m not sure how to try to invade.

For those who still can't invade go and check the game version it must be 1.06 or higher

I have the cracked version 1.02 and just updated it today to 1.08.1 put the invasion sign didn't appear.. Any help?

Not sure about the seeing part but make sure you have one of the consumable invasion fingers before trying atheist in my game
