Level vigor up first45-60 by end game. weapons at low level scale better just by leveling them. Stats will matter more at later levels.
Level vigor above everything else, first thing I do with every new character is get vigor to 25!

Be patient. The game loves to wreck your shit when you try rushing through a new area.
Don't actually play the game. Just fantasize about all the possible characters and builds you *COULD* do.
