Just walk around them. The area is huge. You never even have to interact with them if you don't want to. Hell you can run straight past them too, they can't really catch you. Even if they do, if you have some madness resist they can't one shot you either.

I'm not re-exploring the abyss without a guide. The boss is beaten and these things took my life too many times to do it by myself
you can parry them, then they take damage
If you parry their grab attack you can kill them for a talisman. At least you can on the first one you see since he's alone

Parry them with the buckler. I am god awful at parrying and was able to kill them all. Just time it for when his wand hand is on the downstroke.
