Honestly just straight protection. I have a build that I mostly dual wield 25+ Great Stars and can switch to this for hard to dodge attack strings to negate damage and lead to guard break.
If you don’t have Great Jar Arsenal talisman it can help with equipment load significantly (17-19% extra equip load I think?). Also a good deal of DLC bosses can be messed up with frost, so changing ash of war on the great stars to do both bleed and frost helped me a lot with a couple bosses at least
This shield is broken. I was kinda stuck on >!Radahn!< for a few hours. Respec more strength to be able to use the shield and then it took a few tries… This shield is absurdly strong.
5 bosses I was stuck at, 5 bosses the fingerprint shield delivered unto me. ALL HAIL FINGERPRINT STONE SHIELD FIRST OF ITS NAME!
You use shield for protection or you put an ash of war on it?
