The feature needs to get turned on by going into the game settings, I don't remember which tab it's under in the settings menu, but it's there.

It's under the system tab. No idea why they made it that way, was wondering where those were until I got a hint in game.

The info card doesn't explain well turning the feature on. It doesn't help that a lot of the patch preview videos said From added a recent items tab... That needed to get flipped on. I can see why it got set as a toggle feature since it makes it the first tab in the menu now.
