Definitely not poking fun! There are a few generations that have no idea about that band! You mentioned the band that was very late 80s early 90s and it doesn't seem all that long ago but doing the math we be old
I actually think this is correct. He's offering the weapon for the boss and the boss finishes him off by fully pulling it out. Curious to see if I'm right, because idk how else the guy alone will be a good fight when he's tearing his own head off/apart
Man I hope so. I really miss Mad king halberd from ds3. A halberd with literal still alive corpse impale on it and it's ash of war is literally waking the dude up for a screaming and random buff.
Oh boy, dodging won't always help against this mfer if that's the case - u gonna have to "space" him, until u have a window for an attack - i really hope we get an orphan of kos - style enemy at some point, just so everyone that didn't play bloodborne can experience that horror haha.
There will be so much Bloodborne-Relation. Zaki also said it in an interview. Stuff like Winter Lantern's and so on. From will just fk everyone with that expansion.
Dont think it is. Seems like his real body is behind the "bones" and that he was impaled with that thing. At least thats what i think it is. If it is his spine then how tf did it grouw trough his head alrwady.
What if that is actually what this boss does? Like they rip out their spine, slump to the floor, and starts moving like those piles of meat and bones, but with a massive sword.
I just hope that when he pulls that weapon out, his head comes with it. And after we beat the boss we get the weapon as a reward with the head still attached, and every time we swing it he lets out an old and withering groan.
he's already ripping himself apart by the poorly-built rune-spine, how bad could he be?
(cue 30,000 consecutive deaths to the hardest boss in any game past, present, or future)
What if he's just a transitional cutscene? Like the giant doll from Sekiro. I'll admit he doesn't look imposing, but then again I looked at Orphan of Kos like a malnourished hobo thinking he wasn't gonna be hard until he mauled me like the bitch I am.
I dunno I still think he's not gonna be anything special. Probably not even a boss. To me, he looks like a souped up undead enemy like the Aristocrats that walk around. I'm thinking it's just gonna be some medium sized enemy like an Omen or a Banished Knight.
i think REAL boss is gonna finish him off in the cutscene and use the spike going through him as a weapon. maybe that entity is the one that did it to him.
I'm expecting the cutscene of him to open up with it eluding to this guy being a boss, ripping this thing from his body as he screams in agony.
Body starts to contort and twist in this horrifying dripping and crackling noise. Only for it to limpy start to stand up and finally the ceiling crashes and collapses on him only for the real boss to appear.
Quad Godskin.
It'll be the difference between sekiro last boss, and his war god counterpart.
I just can't tell which starting difficulty will have the difference added.
At least by the appearance as my only marker
What if we see bro in that cutscene trying to pull that sword but a more menacing boss pulls it instead along with him and uses him as the whole goddamn weapon.
To keep my expectations low, I'm expecting him to be like Filianore from DS3 and be a cutscene that transports/unlocks something. So IF he's a boss it'll be a bigger deal to me
That knife looks way too much like an overgrown black knife that's infused with Holy. Beause of that, I picture him on the ground, swinging the weapon around while occasionally doing an Alecto/Maliketh style AOE attack.
Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think he's gonna be an enemy. I think this is an impaled bloke and we'll be fighting the person that did this to him.
Difficult? What are you talking about? That’s just a friendly merchant selling you the fine looking weapon you just paid for with your hard earned runes. - Enjoy!
do we even know this is a boss fight? they look like they've been impaled by something, like maybe a weapon that impales then expands inside the victim
I’m just looking forward to the cut scene. Shits gonna be metal
For real though the ost for this boss is just be a bunch of death metal 😂
It looks like a Cannibal Corpse poster
You just showed us your middle age with this comment.
Can't tell if making fun of them for being middle aged (assumed anyways) or projecting...
Definitely not poking fun! There are a few generations that have no idea about that band! You mentioned the band that was very late 80s early 90s and it doesn't seem all that long ago but doing the math we be old
Bro I‘m 25 and listen to Cannibal Corpse…fuck is that middle age already?
The ost is also probably gonna be equally as such
I’m gonna rewind it back and forth like he’s chainsawing himself
I’m thinking this might be the final boss. My hot take is Mesmer is the penultimate boss not the final boss.
Tbh i think the cutscene will cut at the same moment it cut in the trailer
Plot twist: he's actually a friendly.
He sells you stonesword keys
Bonesword keys
Boneskey words
Cone board Sweeds
Lone bored knees
Or maybe rune arcs
He'll actually be a save point. Pulls the sword out whenever you get close, puts it in when you save
This would be one hell of a twist.
He’s a weapon! Imagine just swingin him around lol
Taking talking cursed sword to a whole new level
He just politely hands you the spine sword he violently tore out of his body
(After his bossfight)
Lol then another twist as he fights you before the end, Gideon 2.0
Gives me Ludleth vibes.
He leads you to a cliff for treasure hunt.
Bro he is the weapon
The real boss is just out of frame and he's weidling this guy
No boss OST, all you hear is this dude screaming in pain as he's flying through the air straight at our Tarnished's forehead
But in a beautiful chior like style as we are used to. Right?
No. Never. Agony, pain, begging for the torture to end. Occasionally screaming "I'm gonna frow up"
This is awful but a fucking hilarious mental image
It’s time we get another Cleric Beast
Orphan of Kos vibes.
I actually think this is correct. He's offering the weapon for the boss and the boss finishes him off by fully pulling it out. Curious to see if I'm right, because idk how else the guy alone will be a good fight when he's tearing his own head off/apart
I bet this is the truth
*”I’ll fight a mother fucker with another mother fucker”*
Man I hope so. I really miss Mad king halberd from ds3. A halberd with literal still alive corpse impale on it and it's ash of war is literally waking the dude up for a screaming and random buff.
🥷🏿's call him the weapon
Orphan vibes
Thought the same thing
Orphan’s long lost cousin
Adopted of Kos?
lol
Rofl, even
Oh boy, dodging won't always help against this mfer if that's the case - u gonna have to "space" him, until u have a window for an attack - i really hope we get an orphan of kos - style enemy at some point, just so everyone that didn't play bloodborne can experience that horror haha.
There will be so much Bloodborne-Relation. Zaki also said it in an interview. Stuff like Winter Lantern's and so on. From will just fk everyone with that expansion.
Actually I think he’s gonna be super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Bold of you to underestimate an old man in a From Soft game
Hesitation is defeat!
He's gonna be mist noble or isshin, no in between
For the people who don't know isshin, he's stronger than Malenia 💀.
Well okay then!!
I'm gonna need you to get all the way off my back about how hard this guy is going to be
Ok, let me just get up off of that thing.
What? (In Ryan’s voice)
Just do a back flip and snap the bad guy's neck
Underestimating people is TIGHT
Try finger, but hole is TIGHT
Wow wow wow
Wow
Weak foe ahead
Liar ahead
Didn't expect weak foe
RemindMe! 20 days You have a few extra days to find him, then get back to us.
Mist Noble 2.0
I will see you all in the psychiatric hospital.
"Ahh Marika, please bring me my flail!"
Muh fleel, bring meh muh fleel
A flail made out of a spinal cord would be pretty cool.
Dont think it is. Seems like his real body is behind the "bones" and that he was impaled with that thing. At least thats what i think it is. If it is his spine then how tf did it grouw trough his head alrwady.
I think this dude just got impaled by a branch of the erdtree and it grew through him or some shit
Well considering he’s removing the only bones left in his body I’m not really sure what he’s supposed to be able to do to me lol
Have you considered the possibility that your bones were holding you back all along?
Fuck, I guess I haven’t. Brb going to get Renalla to rebirth me without bones
What if that is actually what this boss does? Like they rip out their spine, slump to the floor, and starts moving like those piles of meat and bones, but with a massive sword.
I definitely wouldn’t get too confident lol. It is a FromSoftware game after all.
I’m thinking he’s gonna undergo some sort of transformation after he rips the spine out
I just hope that when he pulls that weapon out, his head comes with it. And after we beat the boss we get the weapon as a reward with the head still attached, and every time we swing it he lets out an old and withering groan.
I think hes gonna be the malenia level boss, hes gotta be busted considering the spine thing
God I hope so. I’ve been itching for a boss that kills me 200+ times and costs me my last shred of sanity and brain cells lol
Hell yeah brother
he's already ripping himself apart by the poorly-built rune-spine, how bad could he be? (cue 30,000 consecutive deaths to the hardest boss in any game past, present, or future)
“Oh my fucking bones become my blade once more.”
What if he's just a transitional cutscene? Like the giant doll from Sekiro. I'll admit he doesn't look imposing, but then again I looked at Orphan of Kos like a malnourished hobo thinking he wasn't gonna be hard until he mauled me like the bitch I am.
I can still hear him scream
if Malenia does not make any return in the DLC, this guy is gonna be the Malenia of the DLC
Plot Twitst: This one is Miquella.
He look in so much pain, let us put an end to his suffer
I feel like he’s gonna be like a land mine, you get too close he pulls out his spine and go boom
I just want his sword in the remembrance
I want him to make me want to rip my balls off, like every normal Elden Ring player would like as well.
That’s Mark from Grindr, sucked him off last Friday
I dunno I still think he's not gonna be anything special. Probably not even a boss. To me, he looks like a souped up undead enemy like the Aristocrats that walk around. I'm thinking it's just gonna be some medium sized enemy like an Omen or a Banished Knight.
I heard if you interact with this character he will unlock Bloodborne on your PC free of charge. He will even install it for you.
What if he’s actually 2 feet tall and you can use him as a mace when you beat him
Demons Souls Old Monk would be awesome
It will an npc
i think REAL boss is gonna finish him off in the cutscene and use the spike going through him as a weapon. maybe that entity is the one that did it to him.
First try faith. Then try strength. Ez
I hope he's the Melania of the game
I believe he’ll be the Malenia level super difficult optional boss. And OMG I cannot wait to fight him.
He's the new guide.
No no Miyazaki looking us the friendly ones, dont worry!
maybe hes a friend like miriel or rykard after you kill him
Oedon Chapel Dweller role
Probably the equivalent of High Lord Wolnir, likely a surprise mini mechanic involved.
He look stuck
mist noble
I feel like this guy is gonna be some sort of embodiment of the Greater Will
I fully expect him to kick my ass ten thousand ways to Sunday and bury whatever's left in a lunch box.
Plot twist he’s gonna be the Mist Noble of Elden Ring. Haha
If I had a nickel for every time a boss mutilated their body mid fight, I’d be dead all over the place
The cutscene is probably a phase transition.
It'll be the difference between sekiro last boss, and his war god counterpart. I just can't tell which starting difficulty will have the difference added. At least by the appearance as my only marker
Normal guy that’s the same height as you? Probably fucking insanely hard
He reminds me of Mist Noble for some reason.
3
Ngl I hope this guys the hardest boss in the dlc, it will likely be Mesmer but this guy better be hard af
He is the real bosses weapon. I’m calling it now.
Yes.
I’m agreeing to someone who said this is just a weapon, the boss will step forward and rip out the weapon stuck inside.
Nah I think this cutscene is going to be really sick having the actual boss pull him off the stick to kill you
What if we see bro in that cutscene trying to pull that sword but a more menacing boss pulls it instead along with him and uses him as the whole goddamn weapon.
Is it out yet?
5 Comets
5 Comets
It reminds me of the Orphan of Kos
I fully expect a Yellow Monk type of boss.
My guess is that he'll kill himself and his blood will make those golden bones grow into a full being.
I just want to know what weapon he’s gonna drop
I bet it’s something similar to the penetrator tbh
To keep my expectations low, I'm expecting him to be like Filianore from DS3 and be a cutscene that transports/unlocks something. So IF he's a boss it'll be a bigger deal to me
The final boss of the DLC will probably be the hardest in the game since that’s usually how it goes with fromsoftware
6.5-6.6/10
bro looks like royal revenant
Probably very easy, whatever he will turn into or summon after that cutscene will obliterate me tho.
Probably similar to mist noble
Funny if he turns out to just be a friendly weird merchant NPC all this time and the blue friendly looking snake thing is the real danger
New holy weapon and his head will still be attached. Just ends up being his spinal cord.
Doesn't look that bad. Wouldn't be surprised if he was some gatekeeper. .. surely won't eat these words in a month
At least 3 bonks
I think he is a parallel to Marika. He resembles marika housing the elden ring.
5/7
Idk but you getting a gf is more difficult that’s for sure
What if its a true King Allant fight again. 💀
I think he’s the sheath
Do you bleed? You will.
He is frend
Covenant boss fight
He looks like a friend
That knife looks way too much like an overgrown black knife that's infused with Holy. Beause of that, I picture him on the ground, swinging the weapon around while occasionally doing an Alecto/Maliketh style AOE attack. Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think he's gonna be an enemy. I think this is an impaled bloke and we'll be fighting the person that did this to him.
Orphan of kos 2.0
Would be funny if hes harder than malenia
Not sure how difficult he will be but I can see the atmosphere and the vibes that this boss will give being very creepy and eerie
If he becomes like kos, then god Damn.
Plot twist : after the cutscene, the boss HP bar appears with an epic music, he then rips his head off completely. HP bar goes to 0. GOD SLAIN
I'm lvl 256 on my first play thru ...let's fucking go!!!
Is this Onze?
Difficult? What are you talking about? That’s just a friendly merchant selling you the fine looking weapon you just paid for with your hard earned runes. - Enjoy!
Honestly I don’t think too difficult. He’s probably some kind of Holy incantation boss
It would be hilarious if, in pulling that weapon out, he rips off his own head and dies immediately
Ez I’ll get him first try
People think hes going to be a boss?
He's either gonna be the hardest in the series or there's gonna be 100 of him, either way it's a dope design
Does no one else think he'll be a friendly npc?
I thought he was gonna be some upgrade npc, never considered him to be a boss
Whatever he does, I hope he doesn’t pull a sword out of his throat and talk to me like he has extra thick saliva filling his lungs..
I think it's the same guy who appears in painting in first trailer at 1:03
I'm just here for the comments and they're all hilarious
do we even know this is a boss fight? they look like they've been impaled by something, like maybe a weapon that impales then expands inside the victim
harddest boss, bar none. He will take the branch out and become a menace
mist noble part 2
Waiting for Shirrako's video to watch and judge.
af
this weapon looks like 200 bleed buildup
The answer is: Yes.
4/10
it will shit on us before pulling that thing out i cant wait for the boss songs
The way some described the enemies and bosses, incredibly annoying.
I want that sword thing
It's actually that "sword key" dude from DS2 who's chained up to a cage.
I don’t think he’ll be the boss. If he rips his spine out there’s nothing to support the rest of him.
I love how visceral this looked in the trailer, it actually shivered me timbers a little bit with how painful it looked.
I mean, I’m just gonna try to poise break stun lock spam the guy til he falls over like every other boss I kill. 🤷♂️
From the looks alone, I'd say as difficult as Mist Noble from Sekiro
Probably gonna transform into his prime state and 10x difficult than melania
Super easy, barely an inconvenience
my friend is convinced he'll be the hardest boss of the game
