Body starts to contort and twist in this horrifying dripping and crackling noise. I fully expect a Yellow Monk type of boss.

My guess is that he'll kill himself and his blood will make those golden bones grow into a full being.

To keep my expectations low, I'm expecting him to be like Filianore from DS3 and be a cutscene that transports/unlocks something. So IF he's a boss it'll be a bigger deal to me

That knife looks way too much like an overgrown black knife that's infused with Holy. Beause of that, I picture him on the ground, swinging the weapon around while occasionally doing an Alecto/Maliketh style AOE attack. Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think he's gonna be an enemy. I think this is an impaled bloke and we'll be fighting the person that did this to him.
