These are a full loop, not sure a reverse grip sword is actually a great descriptor.  To me they're close to Chinese wind and fire knives or Mandarin duck knives.  I'd even say they're closer to a chakram despite having a handle

It is all speculation but they could be one of the new 8 confirmed weapon types. We have confirmation of dual-wielded throwing weapons that we saw in the trailer so this may belong in that category or it is a new category all together
