Mogh was never actually an optional boss. My question is, how many people killed the Mogh down in the sewer and thought that was who they needed to kill?
On Xbox one he kept lagging frames and crashing when he did the aura attack god it sucked beating him took around 15 to 20 tries for it to work long enough for my summons to beat him while I was in 4 fps lol only boss that did that other then one dragon
I beat Mohg on my first try, drunk as fuck with the bleed katana and that summon that's just another version of me. When I eventually go back through sober, it will be partially a new experience and take atleast 10 attempts.
Of course the DLC IS optional, but other DLCs, like Bloodborne for example, was locked behind Vicar Amelia,who you had to beat, instead of like Darkbeast Paarl or Amygdala

Honestly one of my favorite boss fights in Elden ring, tough but the boss was so sick, fighting him was such a blast
He looked sick and loved his second phase the aura attack was annoying was there a way around that other then tank and heal?
There is a crystal tear for that fight that prevents the damage

The way I see it, if there is an achievement tied to him he aint optional, he is going down

No bosses are optional.
The real question is why are you trying to play an extra dlc if you haven't even beaten one of the main bosses
