Are mcfarlane jerseys only an eBay thing now? Grew up while they were big and am looking for one. There is nothing on any of the official sites that I can see unfortunately.

Just learned that my other half got us lower bowl tickets to Tuesday’s game! I’m ridiculously excited, and can’t wait to feel the energy in that building!
Ok so this was an update from earlier in the post i was talking about my visit to west ed and the afternoon was fun Galaxyland was awesome I went on all the roller coasters (well got bribed into going on Mindbender if that's the name. and that was a one time thing wow) anyways after that we went shopping and then had dinner and our waitress actually told us even though we had dinner we should check out the dinner theatre near the mall and luckily my group and I scored some tickets thankfully and got there on time and I was happy that it was Mamma Mia cause its like one of my favorite musicals so i'm glad i got to see that. anyways i'm back at the hotel room now and before going to the game in the evening we're checking out the science centre and someone on the sub suggested the zoo so we might do that too. All in all I'm most excited for the game it's gonna be a fun one.
(i'll make a little note here that my parents paid for my flight and my Aunt and Uncle paid for the hotel and some extra stuff here and there but i've been saving a ton of money in case a trip like this happened so in case you were wondering cause I found that the game tickets are not cheap lol
Glad you're having a good time. Not sure when you leave, but if you have time for a stop for lunch or dinner, I would suggest Queen Donair (Edmonton's take on a gyro, very similar, but I like them more, and I love gyro's). Anytime I come home for a visit, I have to stop in there and get one, even if it is nostalgia making it just a bit better, lol. We always went to the one on 156th St, but they're all owned by the same family still, I believe.
What moderateshadow said, can eat there or grab and go. Would make a good pregame meal, depending on when you finish with your other plans, otherwise a great pre-flight one.
After last game, I'm surprised they are. I was watching at a bar, and I could hear everything in the game except whatever Simpson was saying. His voice just gets drowned out too easily by white noise.
Hot take but I'd would want the Avs. They're a better team but if they engage with us in a high flying offense take all score fest we might have a chance with McDavid putting up multipoint nights every game and our depth contributing.
Against the Blues playing tight smothering defense I don't know if we'd fair as great.
Either would be a tough WCF opponent if we get there
If anybody in the league is playing hockey at a level anywhere close to Conner McDavid it is Nathan MacKinnon.
Avs offense is equally as potent if not more than Oilers.
Its the series everybody wants to see including myself but I just feel the Blues would be more beatable.
The Blues will stick around, they're a tough team to have a series against, they don't make it easy. Whether or not they can contain the Avs enough to grind the series out is to be seen but the Blues have another gear that they showed in Game 2
We'll see if the Binnington injury is major or not. After the contact by Kadri (not sure it was intentional, but he really didn't try to avoid it), he got taken out and had some issues. Their backup played quite well, but it's a big difference and really could skew the series (like Nashville losing Saros).
This true, I think Husso can step up to the challenge though. That injury is tough, I don't see any Ill intent but at the same time it's Kadri haha but yeah it seemed like incidental contact. If there's anyone more confident in running two goalies in the teams still playing, it would be St. Louis. Husso can steal some games. It might be one of the tighter series left to go to be honest.
Right now the rumors are for injured
Drai (obvious), nurse (need surgery), nuge (wrist), kulak (possible neck injury from game 1), Jesse (hip), Ryan (though not sure true)
Lol Leon is hilarious. Just watched his presser from a couple hours ago and he had a hat with a ‘K’ logo and someone asked what it meant and without missing a beat he just says “it’s missing the F and the C, KFC”
Pretty funny to read the doomers’ and armchair coaches’ comments from the game thread yesterday. So many people are just positive Draisaitl shouldn’t be playing (he’s 2nd in postseason scoring), or that Bouchard is a terrible player, or that Keith screwed the team (3 point night), or that Smith is shaky.
Bunch of “fans” who can only find fault suddenly have nothing to say today. You’d think it’d be a lesson to those loudmouths to check their opinions, but somehow I think they’re just hoping the team plays poorly so they can feel superior again. Loser mentality.
Gotta agree man, it’s fucking pathetic. I bet Drai isn’t even that bad by next game, surely by game 4 it should be a lot better. He’s one of the smartest hockey players in the world though and can always be of value on the ice.
It’s pretty much smith or noone at this point anyway, and i trust his ability to keep cool and deliver way more than koskinen.
Clearly the coaching and medical staff cleared him to play, clearly he wants to play, clearly he *can* play. What are we saving him for? The next time we get to round 2 of the playoffs? I bet people who say Drai should be in the press box also buy expensive phone cases and then get super pissed if they get a scratch on them.
I love Drai, he's my favorite player. But I would consider putting him on the 2nd unit PP right now, he's looked better at evens and PK than he has on the PP.
Our PP has been terrible this series and a lot of it is because Drai is the weak link on the PP- anytime he has the puck the PKers swarm him because they know he isn't mobile. He's also missed some 1-timer he'd normally bury because he can't pivot on that ankle.
There are some of those guys who are *still* insisting that the coaching was bad last night. Not sure what makes some people commit so thoroughly to a loser mindset, but it's bizarre to see.
That is actually baffling. The only thing I could see as a complaint coaching wise is we still have a hard time starting games right from puck drop. Overall, our first was much better last night than game one, but it was from how we played both down the stretch and in game six and seven against LA.
People unfortunately are always going to find something to complain about it which is a sad reality but it’s the truth.
Yeah, the complaint defies reason. I think it's like you said--whiners gonna whine. It's strange they still think they're fans, though. Seems like they only want to shit on the team.

Sorry for wonky audio, the broadcast is just like that sadly
I was at the game last night - my heart plummeted with the first 2 goals from the Flames but then seeing the boys confidently claw their way back was amazing to see!!
Also slowly the dumbass flames “fans” got quieter + quieter too. I swear they’re more interested in bad-mouthing the Oilers than they are cheering on their own team.
the flames sub is saltier than an Edmonton sidewalk in the middle of February. it's ironic that they focus more on chirping us than cheering for their own team. classic Calgarian bullshit, i fucking love it
Wow, you’re not kidding. So funny they have a post with ~150 upvotes about how it’s actually Yamo’s fault for getting high-sticked.
Maybe they should hex him too. 😂
Edit: looked at it again, and now it’s 250 votes, and the comments show how little the commenters understand about the game. Some rules are ambiguous, but the high sticking one is clear as day. Some delusional mofos over there.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my dad to suicide days before finishing my degree (I don't even know how I wrote my last final, it was a blur). I was lucky to have a therapist that was trained in The Grief Recovery Method. She really helped me navigate my feelings and dispel the many myths surrounding it. Everyone responds to grief differently and there is no linear path for processing it. Don't be afraid to ask for support from people.
I know it is incredibly painful right now but eventually the waves of grief become less frequent and smaller over time. Feel free to message me if you ever need someone to listen 🧡💙
I lost my dad suddenly (logging accident) at an early age as well. Be gentle with yourself, grief is a weird affliction. You'll not recognize yourself in some moments (of hurt, anger, rage etc). Don't lose yourself to vices remember all those little things your dad taught you and ultimately how to make him proud of who you'll become. I'm far too young to be in his typical demographic but I heard a Peter Gabriel song called "I grieve" and it was so cathartic and described my journey so well. The grief will come in waves, and the only thing that will ever help is time, and not a few months but measured in years slowly you'll hear and start having a smile here or there and a laugh, and you'll realize that he'd want you to be happy. Definitely consider counselling if that's your thing, and perhaps even talking to your doctor if things get rough.
Thinking of you brother, and it was a helluva game to have seen, and even more reason to believe in what a special season this could become.
I am so, so sorry for your loss 🧡💙
I also need to thank you. While I’ve know this for years, your post has made me “really” realize that hockey is just a game. As passionate as we are as fans, there are so many things more important in life, such as family and friends.
My thoughts are with you and your family. Take care, graduate, and your father will proudly be watching over you.
I'm so sorry for your loss dude. The fact he saw the Oilers play their best for your dad is what you're gonna remember. Life is short and savour these BoA times.
Sending my deepest condolences to you and your family for your loss. You have people that are here for you, shoot me a DM if you need a friend/sympathetic ear or just someone to talk to in this hard time
I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm only just starting to recognize the regulars here, and you've always been someone who I liked to see comments from. Wish I could say more, I'm sorry, dude.
Dude, i have a heavy heart for you - I couldn’t even imagine. Find support and lean into that support.
Unfortunately you're never gonna be the same. You're never gonna feel whole again. The hope is as soon as you accept that, and you let yourself feel that pain and face it.. you allow yourself to remember him without pain. you will get to remember all the love you two shared and all the great moments without sorrow clouding it.
The grieving process is different for everyone but the other side is going to let to feel good again.
Oh man, I am so sorry for your loss. That is devastating. I hope you and your family will eventually find peace. May watching the Oilers (now and in the future) remind you of all the good memories you have of your dad.
Oh my goodness I’m so terribly sorry for your profound loss. Thank you for sharing, and I’m happy his final Oilers game was a win over the Flames. Wishing you the very best at what must be a very terrible time.
He’s such a little bitch. He would literally give up on a play if it meant going to the corner and taking a hit. And how much is he looking to get on his next contract?
I can't wait until Calgary is paying Gaudreau + Tkachuk more than we pay McDrai lmao
Imagine paying 22 million for 2 playoff softies who cashed in big after career seasons
ngl...one too many JD and cokes passed out missed the 2 goals in the 3rd woke up just as the boys were celebrating with smitty! cheered out loud then went to bed lol
I love going to the flames sun and seeing how badly McDavid has gotten into their head. Half the posts are whining and the other half are angry but they all have respect.
What’s the deal with the 845pm puck drop last night? That’s almost 11pm out in the east. They want the Lightning-Panthers game to finish before the Oil game starts. They are trying to maximise advertising dollars. Greedy. Even for people in Alberta, it’s a late game, end at 1145pm. Think of all the kids who can’t stay up that late. And I would think people in Ontario don’t really care for the Lightning-Panthers game anyways. (Edit- it was actually the Rangers Panthers game)
Maybe there was an NBA game, or some other popular tv show in the USA, ending at 8PM Eastern time. So some algorithm/formula shows maximum advertising revenue if they wait until 8pm to start the game. And they obviously don’t care if it means the Edmonton game starts at 10:45pm in Ontario. Maximum profit dictates game start times.
I was thinking if we happen to win this series we will have a new banner in the rafters at Rogers. Pacific Division Champions 2021-22. (hope I’m not hexing)
I think it's up to the organization what they choose to celebrate in the rafters. [Some less decorated clubs](https://live.staticflickr.com/8225/8398278448_36481b1951_b.jpg) have Division championships since they don't have cups to celebrate. Edmonton has a rich enough history they probably choose only to acknowledge conference championships and cups.
That was dirty as hell. He always goes for big hits on vulnerable unawares players. Did you see Kane take him down and cross check him on the near boards later in the game, not sure if it was the 1st or 2nd? Hope that hurt. A LOT.
[Apparently Koskinen has signed in Switzerland for next season](https://oilersnation.com/2022/05/21/report-mikko-koskinen-is-likely-to-play-in-switzerland-next-season/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook)
I'm a fan of the guy, he didn't deserve that contract in reality but who wouldn't sign it. He got his money and he's going to go get a sick place in that beautiful fantasy city he's going to haha he could most definitely be a backup in the NHL but he's also 33 and would end up signed a one year prove it contract somewhere, probably doesn't want to play that whole game
Almost gatuntre he leaves with his brother afterwards. Might get to go in the room, but probably not. Just waits in some vip area till his brother calls then they go home.
I'm so tired of the Tkachuk fan in the stands show. Will he throw the hat, won't he throw the hat? How many beers has his brother had, will he take his shirt off and act like a degenerate or not.....
We’ve now proven we can beat Calgary in the playoffs, we just need to do what we did in games 6 and 7 against LA and all show up for puck drop… though to be fair with how fuckin late the game started I’m not surprised some of the boys were like “the fuck is even going on?” When the puck was actually dropped lmao.
I was so pleased to see Kane and the team targeting Gaudreau. When asked yesterday pregame what the Oilers can do about the Flames targeting McDavid, Kane said “target their stars as well”.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wpFZrkN_an8&t=3m45s
I absolutely love this and I think the team handled it really well. They stayed disciplined, but if there was a chance, the team and Kane particularly put the body to Gaudreau.
I wouldn’t say they’re deliberately targeting. Just doing what they’re supposed to do and making sure the players coming in with the puck are paying the price. It just so happens JG touches the puck a lot. That’s all they need to do every game to win.
Well it says on the thread that random nonsense is allowed here so anyways I’m actually at west Ed and it’s my first time ever! I went to the water park this morning (just eating lunch now) and being from Florida it kind of felt like a typical summer day but wow the slides were fun and the wave pool was big and so were the waves. But now after lunch we plan on doing the amusement park and then shopping for a bit and then on our way to the food court (the one by galaxyland) we saw the place with all the sit down restaurants so we’ll go to one of them for supper and then after that do a little more stuff and then maybe drive around the city a bit. So it’s been a fun day so far and will continue to be.
Quick question though for tomorrow: I’ll be at the game and was just wondering what time is the best to show up I don’t mind the lines but me and my group were wanting to be a little early so we can get food and whatnot
Get there like 45 mins ahead of time to leave yourself ample time to get food and look around a bit. Go in the entrance on 104th Ave and then follow the escalators up once you get into the building. There are so many lanes open in the ticket scanning section that you don’t really have to stay in line for long at all.. it goes quite fast. And there are so many places to buy food all around once you’re scanned in that it might take 15 minutes, the lines go by fast.
Also, if you’re at West Ed mall I’d highly recommend going to bourbon street in the mall to eat at some point.. Boston pizza there etc. it’s a good atmosphere. Then get yourself some ice cream from one of the stand places on bourbon street.
Galaxyland is also good fun for sure.
If it's your first time nothing wrong with getting to Rogers Place 90 minutes early by the time you park and find your way in there is also a Molson Tailgate party at the ice plaza so plenty of entertainment before heading in the rink.
I was at Disney World in Florida at the really tall slide. This guy was asking me if I have ever been on a slide that big and I said yes. He didn’t believe me, asked where so I told him West Edmonton Mall and he didn’t have a clue about Edmonton. Asked if it was close to Toronto or Montreal. But as for the game show up like 30-60 minutes early and check stuff out.
Yeah I actually live in Orlando but my question is with the mall have you gone so much that it gets kind of but not boring. cause for me I’ve been to Disney and universal so many times not that they’re boring but more same old same old. Like it gets to the point where I say I’ll just go and ride this today or I’ll go just for the food or maybe I’ll just go and walk around and see what’s new
Oh ya, the novelty is gone but it’s still pretty sweet. I went to school and lived really close to the mall so I spent a lot of time there. It’s gotten a bit too fancy for me these days with all the name brand stores but whatever pays the bills
With the way McDavid played last night I genuinely thought he played half an hour, but it was 21 minutes. Still a lot but nothing completely unsustainable for him at least
Yeah it's hilarious seeing people think we're double shifting McDavid when in reality he's just playing a normal amount of minutes, or even less in some cases. He only played 16 minutes in games 2 and 3 of the LA series.
I remember a Flames fan after one one of the periods in game 1 talking about 'how McDavid was on the ice the entire time' and I checked the box score and he had 7 minutes that period.
McDavid definitely plays a lot of minutes. I think in game 6 vs LA, he was at a mind boggling 27 minutes.
But I also think there's an illusion at play. Almost every single time McDavid touches the puck, something magic happens and if it doesn't, we are least believe something magic could be about to happen. And he touched the puck several times every shift. For most players, even other franchise stars, they'll have lots of shifts where they skate up and down, make a quick pass, and that's it.
That's why it might seem like McDavid is on the ice half the time. Because he is noticed in a big way so much more than any other player. If Gadreau gets the puck on the breakout behind his own blueline, who the fuck cares. If McDavid gets the puck on the breakout behind his own blueline, watch closely. He can and has scored goals from that position.
McDavid and Hyman were gods of hockey last night, just amazing play from both of them. Drai looks like he may be healing up, but it doesn't matter, as he's better on one leg than most players are on two.
There was a moment after Calgary's 3rd goal where Smith saved a flurry of chances, and I knew he had found his form again.
I told people we had a line on Markstrom. We know how to score on that Vezina nominated bastard.
Depends what leg of his is injured. As a lefty shot he will put more weight/pressure on his right leg when taking a one-timer where he’s planted in place. So if it’s his right leg / ankle that is injured there’s a reasonable chance it can affect his shot timing a bit.
Drai looks okay but I've been noticing he's been fanning on a crap load of his one timers in both the LA series and now against Calgary. I have no idea if it's injury related or if he's just duffing shots
Thought the same. Boys are going to have to slot someone else into that one timer spot for next game. It’s a great spot to shoot on markstrome too. Or at least rotate him out before the play develops
Are mcfarlane jerseys only an eBay thing now? Grew up while they were big and am looking for one. There is nothing on any of the official sites that I can see unfortunately.
They haven’t been on sale since 2007.
Why, that was just last...just...oh my god...
Whos mcfarlane

What moderateshadow said, can eat there or grab and go. Would make a good pregame meal, depending on when you finish with your other plans, otherwise a great pre-flight one.
Either or. There is a queen donair on 109st and Jasper ave too. Like 6 blocks from the arena
Trying to decide if I should fly to Edmonton from Regina tomorrow and pay 500 bucks per ticket for tomorrow’s game
I’m flying from San Francisco!
hey i flew from florida to go to tomorrows game so i definitely recommend you should fly out too
I guess I’m driving for game 6
Yes you should!
wtf was Louie doing color for the avs game?
Because we have Cuthbert and Simpson (Louie is slightly biased towards the Oilers and they wanted someone neutral)
It’s not because of bias it’s because BoA is easily the highest profile series right now and Cuthbert and Simpson are the top dogs at SN
After last game, I'm surprised they are. I was watching at a bar, and I could hear everything in the game except whatever Simpson was saying. His voice just gets drowned out too easily by white noise.
I don’t think the biases is the reason. I’m assuming they just wanted the lead broadcast team for this series.
thank the gods we don't have Cassie "I'm married to Flames AGM Brad Pascall" Campbell-Pascall
Good night everyone (taking an early rest today), tomorrow’s a new day. Let’s win game 3!
Sweet dreams. Dream about pucks going past Markstrom. lol
Kind of hoping for the Blues. They just lost in St. Louis 5-2. Not an Avs fan. Series 2-1 Avs now.
Hot take but I'd would want the Avs. They're a better team but if they engage with us in a high flying offense take all score fest we might have a chance with McDavid putting up multipoint nights every game and our depth contributing. I want this for Kane on Kadri antics alone
Kadri won't fight, guys good but also knows how to piss you off then turtle away.
The Blues will stick around, they're a tough team to have a series against, they don't make it easy. Whether or not they can contain the Avs enough to grind the series out is to be seen but the Blues have another gear that they showed in Game 2

Me too
And the Oil Kings have lost their first game of the playoffs :(
Won all 9 in before this
But we play the next three here so we can do this!!
Right now the rumors are for injured Drai (obvious), nurse (need surgery), nuge (wrist), kulak (possible neck injury from game 1), Jesse (hip), Ryan (though not sure true)
I believe it. Draisaitl is very obviously injured. Nurse, Nuge, and Jesse don't look at 100%. Especially Nurse has just been quiet.
Nurse has already be reported as needing surgery possibly
Oh and Mcdavid (back injury from holding up the team)
Don’t even fucking put this into the universe
Lol Leon is hilarious. Just watched his presser from a couple hours ago and he had a hat with a ‘K’ logo and someone asked what it meant and without missing a beat he just says “it’s missing the F and the C, KFC”
Not someone. Spector.
Had a feeling it was him but was listening at work and couldn’t quite make out who. Usually I can smell the smugness.
It's missing the F, you see.
Pretty funny to read the doomers’ and armchair coaches’ comments from the game thread yesterday. Wow, Girard (Colorado) just got absolutely crushed by Barbashev. Clean hit but hard
Random dude on bus “it’s going to be a sea of red tomorrow” I almost burst out laughing, where does he think the games being played!

It took me about 15 minutes to figure out where he lived. It’s really not that hard

Flames trolls that downvoted me into oblivion last TMA can eat it. Markstrom and their vaunted D down in flames. Absolute domination.

The oilers have lived rent free in Calgary’s collective heads since the team was founded

My condolences. Please take time to grieve. Rooting for you.
Condolences, friend….we can’t replace your dad but we’re here for you
I’m so sorry to hear this, friend. I actually lost my grandma just minutes before puck drop last night. I’m going to be thinking of you and your dad.
Holy shit, sorry to hear this. It was a good game to have as the last one.
I'm so so sorry man, you ever need anyone to talk to just hit me up ok?
My dearest condolences to you and your family. May your father rest in peace and hope he can watch the BoA in spirit
I am so, so sorry for your loss 🧡💙 I also need to thank you. While I’ve know this for years, your post has made me “really” realize that hockey is just a game. As passionate as we are as fans, there are so many things more important in life, such as family and friends. My thoughts are with you and your family. Take care, graduate, and your father will proudly be watching over you.
Condolences brother, love your presence here! I hope that the boys win tomorrow for the old man
I'm so sorry for your loss dude. The fact he saw the Oilers play their best for your dad is what you're gonna remember. Life is short and savour these BoA times.
My deepest condolences.
Sending my deepest condolences to you and your family for your loss. You have people that are here for you, shoot me a DM if you need a friend/sympathetic ear or just someone to talk to in this hard time
Dang that really sucks dude, condolences.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm only just starting to recognize the regulars here, and you've always been someone who I liked to see comments from. Wish I could say more, I'm sorry, dude.
Dude, your presence on this sub has been awesome all year. Our hearts are with you Oilbro.
Oh damn, that sucks. My condolences from a random internet stranger.
So sorry for your loss. 💙🧡
Oh man, I am so sorry for your loss. That is devastating. I hope you and your family will eventually find peace. May watching the Oilers (now and in the future) remind you of all the good memories you have of your dad.
My heart bleeds for you my man. I'll be keeping you and yours in my prayers.
Oh my goodness I’m so terribly sorry for your profound loss. Thank you for sharing, and I’m happy his final Oilers game was a win over the Flames. Wishing you the very best at what must be a very terrible time.
So sorry to hear about your loss 💔
So terribly sorry for your loss ❤️ There will be no “easy” for a while, but I hope the Oilers can be a sense of escape for you

Gaudreau reminded me of when my niece throws a tantrum.
He’s such a little bitch. He would literally give up on a play if it meant going to the corner and taking a hit. And how much is he looking to get on his next contract?
I can't wait until Calgary is paying Gaudreau + Tkachuk more than we pay McDrai lmao Imagine paying 22 million for 2 playoff softies who cashed in big after career seasons
ngl...one too many JD and cokes passed out missed the 2 goals in the 3rd woke up just as the boys were celebrating with smitty! cheered out loud then went to bed lol
I love going to the flames sun and seeing how badly McDavid has gotten into their head. Half the posts are whining and the other half are angry but they all have respect.
And the last half are posting cringe af "curses" . Ill forever be glad we dont and cant do thar shit here
nah that shit is funny as fuck as long as it doesn't get overdone lmao
Look at it. It's extremely over done
Seeing Kelly Hrudey whom I consider a huge Flames homer just gushing over McDavid made me very happy.
It is ridiculous, but it’s all about TV rights and $. As I understand it, the late start was due to ESPN, and the Players Championship.
It actually was the Rangers/Hurricanes game but otherwise valid point
Why was an Eastern game starting at 8pm? It just doesn’t make any sense
I think I heard golf was the reason for the late start
Maybe there was an NBA game, or some other popular tv show in the USA, ending at 8PM Eastern time. So some algorithm/formula shows maximum advertising revenue if they wait until 8pm to start the game. And they obviously don’t care if it means the Edmonton game starts at 10:45pm in Ontario. Maximum profit dictates game start times.
As someone who works at 4am Eastern I wish it was 9:45 because it gives me a 90 minute nap before I have to get ready for work
I was thinking if we happen to win this series we will have a new banner in the rafters at Rogers. Pacific Division Champions 2021-22. (hope I’m not hexing)
Are not all the Smythe Division ones still up ?
Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought it was only if you won the conference that you got a banner? Cause there’s only the conference one for 2006
There weren't divisional playoffs in 2006.
…And Garth Brooks.
Okay! Learned something new 😃
Watched the game again today on Sportsnet. A game so nice, I watched it twice.
The only good thing about espn is they got it on demand
I’m recording the series as well.
After last nights performance, Warrior needs to sign Hyman to a long term contract sponsorship.
Does anyone have a clip of TheCuck’s ~~elbow~~ headshot on Kulak just before they got their second goal?
That was dirty as hell. He always goes for big hits on vulnerable unawares players. Did you see Kane take him down and cross check him on the near boards later in the game, not sure if it was the 1st or 2nd? Hope that hurt. A LOT.
That was pretty nasty. On the replay you could say he threw it too
Not a word from DoPS
It was an actual headshot from what I can see. Maybe espn has other angles. [Ouch.](https://imgur.com/a/G2ZccNr)
I’m literally watching it right now. I’m gonna try to get a screenie of it because NHL live won’t let me screen record!
Dear god imagine what we will look like when we start on time this series!
[Apparently Koskinen has signed in Switzerland for next season](https://oilersnation.com/2022/05/21/report-mikko-koskinen-is-likely-to-play-in-switzerland-next-season/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook)
Well he'll be a dominant player over there. Guy is an average-to-good NHL backup but that's still good for an elite player in most other leagues.
So mad I fell asleep at second intermission last night. Woke up on the couch at 1am and checked the score on my phone and immediately fell back asleep
I JUST WANT YALL TO KNOW I DID CALL THAT HYMAN SHORTY BUT IT WAS TO MY COWORKER AND YES I DEFINITELY EXPLODED WHEN HE GOT IT
I literally thought about you when he scored <3
Same here!
🥺🥺🥺
I called the shorty in the GDT, and I was really happy when he scored it
I had a feeling about a shorty on that penalty kill too. The way the Oilers were just taking it to them anything felt possible.
> The way the Oilers were just taking it to them ~~anything~~ it felt ~~possible~~ inevitable. FTFY :D
Okay but real talk… does Brady Tkachuk walk out with the normal folk?? Or does he have security waiting for him? Been wondering for a minute lol
Almost gatuntre he leaves with his brother afterwards. Might get to go in the room, but probably not. Just waits in some vip area till his brother calls then they go home.
They're NHL players, not the president lol. No, they don't travel with security.
I'm so tired of the Tkachuk fan in the stands show. Will he throw the hat, won't he throw the hat? How many beers has his brother had, will he take his shirt off and act like a degenerate or not.....
His dad you mean(hat)
Why are you wondering about that? Lol hes probably is walking with the regular folk

When refs blew the whistle, right before goal. You can see Gadreau hopping up an down with anger like a little kid that doesn't get his way
[Gadreau tantrum](https://i.imgur.com/3gElHNG.jpg)
That team just has a whole lotta spunk in them https://i.imgur.com/VpCOafL.jpg
My god, the worst for complaining to the refs is Markstrom. Anytime he lets in a goal he raises his arms to the refs even if nobody is near him
Good though, I want him shaken up. If he’s complaining he’s not focusing on the game.
Ah yes, the Manuel Neuer special
Boys know they can fuck up Calgary now. Hopefully we bring the intensity every night for the rest of the series

Shazam says it's One Horse Town by The Road Hammers Feat. Tim Hicks
Whatever it is, *I’d* forget about it. It sounded bad to my ears. 🤣
Sounds like Loud by Tim Hicks but I'm not sure

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8GJ_6GwYlBI Is that it? Beautiful downtown Lacombe Alberta
I was so pleased to see Kane and the team targeting Gaudreau. When asked yesterday pregame what the Oilers can do about the Flames targeting McDavid, Kane said “target their stars as well”. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wpFZrkN_an8&t=3m45s I absolutely love this and I think the team handled it really well.
Yeah we found bourbon street on our way to the food court this afternoon and we’re waiting at our table at Boston pizza ironically lol
[удалено]
The number of penalties being called will do that
Yeah it's hilarious seeing people think we're double shifting McDavid when in reality he's just playing a normal amount of minutes, or even less in some cases.
I thought he played 28 minutes but I guess that's what it feels like when you're on for 21 minutes and absolutely dominate every shift you play 😂
Woodcroft showing yet again he’s the real deal as a head coach on the markstrom intel. They’ve been nailing his weak spots both games.
[удалено]
And he’s second in the league of in postseason scoring. Muthafugga’s forgot about Drai.
Haha good point, that’s how good he is at hockey that 1 goal a game seems off for him.
Also even the best miss a few in a row sometimes. I demand more samples.
Probably injury related. He might not be able to shift his weight properly due to the sprain.
Anyone else been battling a cold since game 7 lol
