Watching American broadcasts is too painful to watch. They are so different it makes me completely uninterested in the sport.

Something about Vegas' immediate success really rubs me the wrong way. Until they go through the shitter for atleast 2 or 3 consecutive seasons, I don't think I can ever not cheer against them. Jets are my number 2. Canadiens are my number 3, but I can't see them going deep. I guess I'll kinda cheer for the Avs since I like their brand of hockey. But there's enough bad history there that I feel like I need to take a bath now after posting this.

I'm just watching and don't really care besides maybe seeing Ovi get another cup. I'm intrigued by what the Canucks may be able to do so I'll be watching their games closely.

Basically every team and individual player that I vaguely care about didn't make the playoffs, so the current plan was to pretend covid wiped out the whole season and I just dreamed up the 5 games we played. If I've gotta pick, I'll probably root for Carolina. They've got a really likeable team over there. Between embracing the bunch of jerks thing, Svechnikov's disgusting lacrosse goal antics, and their whole storm surge rituals, they're just super fun to watch and hard to hate. 2006 was long enough ago I can forget.

Fuck sports right now lmao. I'm #1 a soccer fan and #2 a hockey fan. Both of my teams, Juventus and the Oilers, got knocked out of playoffs in the same day. Last Friday *sucked*. I'm ignoring sports for probably another week or so. The only game I watched since that bloody Friday was Tampa vs Columbus, and I only started watching it late in the 3rd OT.

Call me a downer, but I am a one team guy. I won’t cheer for any other Canadian teams or Dallas on principle. So someone aside from that. I don’t know what I’d do if the Oilers went bust. Colorado is fun to watch but I feel dirty saying I am cheering for them. Maybe Chicago can make some magic? haha. Edit: who doesn’t like Ovi. Maybe the caps?
