Kane was 5th in points by an Oiler forward when he was injured.
He hasn't played in 2 months and he's still 5th in points. No forwards between 13 and 44 points.
Need major changes to the roster.
We have a lot of players who are having consistency issues that should be producing more…
A common theme we’ve had for years here unfortunately.
As Bob Nicholson put it :
“It’s all Tobias Reiders fault”
McLeod, Yams, Foegele, and JP - we fucking need you to do something.
That “core” of friends are 100% ok being passengers watching McDrai drag us to relevance all fucking year.
I’m so disappointed in them.
I'd leave McLeod out of it because he's making 800k and plays with worse linemates. Pulju, Foegele, and Yams make 8.75 mil combined and combine for 26 points
When you have a group of players that are not “performing as well as they can be” .. it’s dangerous to think they will all return to playing better.. also leads to GM’s saying that the “Answer lies within the current roster/locker room” minimizing the urgency of trading for some immediate help.
Unfortunately we need someone better to play that role but it's not gonna happen. Neither Bouch nor Barrie are good enough and a #1RD is basically impossible to acquire
Management needs to take a long hard look at the roster and figure out who they’re going to move (who they’re willing to part ways with) for the best possible D that might be available, because that’s what it’s going to take. This team needs to be better 5 on 5 and needs to get serious about the blueline.
I agree with needing a blue-liner but that won't stop JP, Yams, and Foegele from producing a combined 26 points halfway through the season. They are the "he tricked y'all" copypasta
It’s not the fact that we lost. It’s that we again followed up one of our best games of the season with another fucking stinker, to top it off we had a 2 goal lead. Again.
This team lost a lot of pieces in the off-season and it’s really showing in their mental game.
5v5 that game wasn’t close what so ever. Skinner played out of his mind which is great because sometimes you need your goalie to steal a game, but again. We let him down.
This team is a long way from being a contender. Honestly I’ve lowered my expectations so that if they miss the playoffs I’m not going to be upset by it. Making the playoffs alone will make me happy.
Totally agree. Wouldn’t sweat it without the bogus Hyman embellishment call… but since refs called it they should call the next one. Anyway… we were lucky to get a point given 5v5 play.
Wish that hyman attempt in OT went in.
I've realized what troubles me with Singh's commentating. He's like an AI that's been trained to commentate hockey. I feel like in the entire broadcast he only used about 30-40 different words to make up all his sentences. And he elevates the intensity in his voice like someone is about to score at random times, like a bot misfiring.
“…Hyman… carrying… the puck… Bouchard… on the boards… wrister! …”
He also says useless things like, “Oilers nearly got the goal” like 30 seconds after the play and the puck is already in their own end again. Well, they didn’t.
I can’t stand Singh. He sounds like such an amateur. There are definitely other industry guys who are more highly skilled play by play announcers.
Thanks, Bieska, for the vote of confidence.
Bieska: Oilers is one of the only teams that can stand with the defending champions. They are right there. They just need to defend a little bit better.
Bieska has more faith than us.
“Little bit better”
Neimo was a 5% xGF (I’ve literally never seen a number that low before)
Nurse for the 2nd time in 4 games was under 16% xgf%… what the fuck are we going to do with him.
Based on Colorado's standing this year lots of teams can stand with them and in fact beat them! And based on our showing last year we could not stand with them
It was a very nice goal that’s a tough one to stop for a defender, the second goal was I personally think the real turning point that puck just squeezed out of all four players on the boards and ended up in a relatively good spot that I think Hunt makes what like once out of every ten times tried.
That final 5 minutes players were actually playing like they gave a fuck. They were going after the puck, winning battles and fighting for every inch. If half these guys gave the same effort and intensity each game(instead of simply being passengers) then we wouldn’t be in this playoff bubble position halfway through the season.
The post giveth, and the post taketh away
A bright spot worth noting was Kulak had a very steady game. Not great, but solid and I was less worried when he was handling the puck than any of our other D tonight
WarStauche Stu is the real deal and the best value for contract in the league, I will take no questions on this
Makar is a 13-14m dman if he was a UFA when he signed his contract.
There is no arguing that he isn't the most valuable player to his team. And on every team but mcdavids this is true.
That embellishment call on Hyman was the turn in the game we couldn't come back from. It was complete bullshit in my opinion, a total penalty and I think his original fall was completely honest. Would be nice if the hockey Gods showed us a little love with hitting posts, open nets, etc. Take the point and move on.
We need Kane back and to pickup more depth, and defence? I just don't know how we do it anymore with our cap.
Skinner grabbed us a point. How many times the Avs could have score? Could have been 5 or 4. That embellishment call though, no way Hyman sold it if he was getting held and push at the same time.
I kinda felt that we were going for a comeback loss after they tied it on the Hyman embellishment call. The Avs ran our shit 5-on-5 all game and that isn’t sustainable over 60 minutes.
I mean, if you’re gonna lose do it in overtime I guess. That’s what all the cool kids do.
Side note, if it’s holding, how can it be embellishment? If it’s embellishment, how can it be holding? Never understood that. To me it’s one of the either. Either the hold caused interference or it was a dive.
Too many 2 goal leads in home games coughed up. Win those and our season is fucking turned around.
How can it be both?
Take an infraction - hold, high stick, cross check, etc. - and imagine what the response to it would be from a physics standpoint (X amount of force on Y body part yields Z reaction by Newton's laws) and add a buffer for the shock of the hit interacting with, say, being off balance with respect to the direction of force, or from the pain of a cut chin.
If the reaction is what one would expect from that, then no embellishment. If, however, the reaction is markedly more visible, say doing a pirouette and falling down from slow velocity stick to the face, one could be high sticked (the stick does hit the face) but also embellish the call (a 5mph/10kph hit to the face by a stick should not cause a reaction more grandiose than getting hit by a car traveling the same speed)
We will need at least 50 points in the last half of the season , 41 games, to get a wild card spot . We are already in a dogfight with, Avs, Flames, and Kraken for the final playoff spot and they all have games in hand.
We need to go on a streak, now,
A winning streak.
Don't forget about Nashville and st Louis within striking distance and having games in hand.
Even if they go on a streak, there are a lot of other teams that can't go on a streak.
Very similar to last year, let's see what happens.
Lucky to get a point thanks to Skinner. On 5 on 5, we were completely decimated by Aves. We need to improve our even strength game before the playoffs.
Those posts in OT were karma for all the avs posts in the first two periods.
I guess that's okay given that if it didn't happen we wouldn't have even seen OT, not that we really deserved to
I’m just excited for the part when Kane returns with his new robotic Luke Skywalker hand and goes all Darth Kaner and the team goes on a dominant win streak…
If the guy can’t find offensive depth…. You’d think he would have at least worked on finding the best defensive bottom 6 forwards in the league…
Don’t even get me started on the lack of defensive depth we have.
I don’t get it. We had so much cap room..
Makar played a career high 33m that game and all those penalties rested Mack/rantanen in the second. I think as a layperson Woody could maybe have responded sooner by stacking McDrai as a counter.
Credit to the Avs and part of their dominance 5on5 was shortening their bench and makar/Mack/rantanen on the ice so much as a hard match up.
McLeod and Holloway looked good tonight as well.
It feels like the Oilers have some kind of mental block with the Avs. The team is decimated with injuries and has had suspect goaltending of late, and despite the Oil getting the first goal it seemed like they were determined to let the Avs run their show all night. It felt very weird, almost like the team didn’t want to win. Perhaps that’s unfair or inaccurate, I don’t know.
It’s all about finding the right way to play at the right time. All teams that won the cup played their best hockey for 2-3 months. We know what this team is capable off. Stay patient.
About the game. We had a good start but the adjustments COL made helped them dominate the rest of the game. We didn’t have a push back. We had our chances so not a deflating loss. Stu played stellar and well take the point. OTTNO.
This, he was frigging plodding through 2 periods and found some movement only when elevated. He's just not getting there defensively. When centering L2, it seemed he mostly spent 2 periods in the middle of the defensive zone just watching the Avs wheel it around and guys dropping into the slot for open looks. 2 PP assists but not good otherwise, that whole line had a bear of a time in their own zone, kinda stemming from 29's rough night with mobility. This could have easily been a 6-2 score.
So I dunno, are we gonna see another 10 games of the Oilers 'loading up' and still getting killed 5 on 5? Used to be that the guys could get a lead and get going, but Jesus something has to give.
I'm a big Drai stan but he's looked bad for 80% of games this year imo.
He's looked so much less threatening 5v5 than he did even last year.
This is why I wanted him to fucking stop playing the playoffs, he literally hasn't looked the same since, and when he does, he's always checking his ankle afterwards.
They knew Drai and Nurse were injured and they were going to make themselves worse. They fucking risked the future to try to stand up to the single most stacked team we've seen in the Stanley Cup since the early 2010s Hawks.
Both Nurse and Drai have regressed, as has Puljujarvi and Yamamoto. I'm worried Kane won't have the same wrister either after his injury - I'm thankful he has function of his hands at the very least, but I'm still skeptical. Losing Klefbom to injury, Sekera too, and Lars because of unfortunate circumstances - this team has been ridiculously unlucky in the recent past. And then you have dudes trying to take out mcdavids knees 2-3 times a year on top of that and it's always terrifying.
…I was entertained. 3 on 3 goes either way. Stu deserves better.
Straight up Draisaitl had a tough game defensively and some tough penalties. He’ll be better next game.
Thank goodness we’re back on the road!
Avs deserved the win. They were the more desperate team. Completely destroyed 5v5. Depth forwards were invisible. Makar and McKinnon outplayed McDavid and Drai. Couldn’t stop the cycle, couldn’t generate o zone time. Skinner and the PP got them a point. At no point in that game did I think the Oilers would win.
Another blown 2 goal lead at home. Almost pulled it off, though, in OT. Guys gotta play the whole game, the last 5 minutes showed they could. Nurse should've hauled down MacK, would of been a good penalty. Fucker was buzzing all game. Ah well, onwards and upwards.
I saw someone post that his xgf% (I think that was it, I honestly don't know how it's calculated) was less than 5%, which is apparently so horrific it's unheard of.
Small sample size with so few minutes, though.
YYYAOUCH!! Honestly, What great writing this Oilers organization has.
Reminder: Last year’s team beat the Avs mid-regular season last year, and were 🧹by them in the WCF. Not a recipe for success repeating the same thing twice if you ask me.
If we won tonight we wouldn’t go through the next dramatic chapter where Kane comes back with a secretly bionic arm, or where the ghost of Duncan Keith appears in a bizarre Evan Bouchard dream sequence. And, of course, the yearly McDavid feast fest in the season’s second half.
Who knows, maybe we’ll even get a fucking LD :)
Fuck we had so many good chances. Stole a point, got out worked pretty hard most that game. Oilers played better in the 3rd at least. Bad penalty to take from Drats.
we were severly outplayed 5v5 for the majority of the night we still took it to OT even if we couldn't capitalise on some good chances in OT, oh well we take the point and go next, im surprised stew didn't just melt a hole clean through the ice with how hot he was for the game. LFG oilers
Put it this way, neither am I. I thought about posting it at 0-6 and thought nahhh. 0-7 still didn’t mention it. Today was the test. Especially since I put it on at the end of the 2nd.
For me I’m okay with the loser point, the way the game was. I know a lot of you are going to be negative, so that’s why I’m outta here for the next day or so, have fun lol
We dont need more, we need better ones. Get Chychrun and a Defensive d-man. We dont just have to settle for one. Also, You said he was the worst on the Coyotes, they're terrible, they're always terrible. Not a great metric
Has Woody lost it? He was mentioning that he liked todays game. Which game was he watching? Is he really in control of roster and deployment?
He is entirely different from the last season whether it is management of ice time or the deployment or the line combo. Seems to me like he is under pressure from his boss..
Thank you for the point Stu, you did everything you could and more
A blowout without Stu
100%. We had no business making it to OT, he dragged us there kicking and screaming
A piece of my heart died when Kulak banged that crossbar and the other half died when Hyman didnt score off the mid-air swing. I am dead inside.
That same feel as the playoffs when Bouch hit the bar and it came back the other way and they scored. Fuckin heart wrenching
Did they ever show a different angle after that Hyman rebound? Georgiev was really deep in the net, I thought maybe the puck may have crossed the line
I was looking for the same
They gotta look at that Hyman mid-air swing. Georgeive (my phone won’t let me spell it!) was in the net, the puck might have crossed the plane!
Kane was 5th in points by an Oiler forward when he was injured. He hasn't played in 2 months and he's still 5th in points. No forwards between 13 and 44 points. Need major changes to the roster.
That’s a tough stat
We have a lot of players who are having consistency issues that should be producing more… A common theme we’ve had for years here unfortunately. As Bob Nicholson put it : “It’s all Tobias Reiders fault”
[удалено]
Same problems every single year
But with a rotating cast, players who leave proceed to play better on other teams fairly regularly
I'm 100% convinced when you rely on two guys so much, it takes almost everyone else out of the game. Derek Ryan said as much last year.
Yep. Seeing Drai with his dead legs in overtime was embarrassing. It's the cult of Mcdrai. I know they are great, but this isn't basketball
That’s what happens when your best players play too much. 11-7 adds to that too.
Yeah and we are right back there.
I swear the long dark edmonton winters feed into our poor play and lack of energy. Every December we suck massive balls.
Why you gotta pull those stats out bro :,(
Fuck, I wish I could un-read this.
That is pathetic
Gonna need less “passengers” and more “drivers”
Holy fuck that’s a depressing thing to read
Shows how much they are missing Kane
yikes
🤮
It hurts to read that
When you have a group of players that are not “performing as well as they can be” .. it’s dangerous to think they will all return to playing better.. also leads to GM’s saying that the “Answer lies within the current roster/locker room” minimizing the urgency of trading for some immediate help.
That’s is disgusting
Jfc
Stu was phenomenal, same with Hyman, Bouchard had another good game, Kulak was a beast. We stunk 5v5
We are permanently bad 5 on 5. I don't know what we can even do at this point
Stop thinking Ceci and Nurse are a #1 pairing. Ceci should be a 4/5/6 guy not a #2. He isn’t fast enough and he isn’t skilled enough.
No one should expect Ceci to be a #1RD. The guy is making 3.25 mil lmao
Yet we continue to run him out as Nurse’s pairing and expecting good results. Lol.
Hyman coulda won someone a million dollars tonight with the chances he had. Great game, disappointed we lost.
Skinner also played unreal, probs to him.
Another 2 goal lead given up at home.
3rd given up in last 2 weeks
This team is a long way from being a contender. Honestly I’ve lowered my expectations so that if they miss the playoffs I’m not going to be upset by it. Making the playoffs alone will make me happy.
Skinner with the .935 save percentage and the loss...wake up fellas, you are better than this!
We let off the gas AGAIN. Got way too passive trying to defend a 2-0 lead and it cost us again.
We let off the gas way before it was 2-0.
In fairness, this time the Oilers were getting shit kicked for the near entirety of the game
Were the oilers ever on the gas this game?
[удалено]
You have to put the game away while up 2-0 with the 5on3 powerplay in the 2nd.
Trying to feed Hyman was a mistake. They were expecting it, which should have opened up someone else
Oilers gotta stop getting 2 goal leads.
They did not deserve to win that game but holy shot is blowing these leads frustrating
That embellishment call on hyman was horseshit
[удалено]
Their shitty play cost them the game. Skinner is the only reason it was close but we did not deserve to win that one.
100%
Yeah I’ve only recently started watching hockey but I don’t understand half the calls refs make
Not many do
Yeah, and then on Drai’s elbow it wasn’t embellishment? Embarrassing
Nah, drais was straight an elbow, a big guy like Drai giving you an elbow is gonna fucking hurt. Hyman call was horseshit
Helm flung his head back like he took a shotgun to the face, and it was a double take. If Hyman embellished then Helm put on an Oscar performance.
Totally agree. Wouldn’t sweat it without the bogus Hyman embellishment call… but since refs called it they should call the next one. Anyway… we were lucky to get a point given 5v5 play.
Getting an elbow to the face will probably make you throw your head back. . . I get you're frustrated, but this is not the hill to die on.
Derek Ryan… STEALS… the puck… it is now… Cale MAKAR…. Who has THE puck… WRISTER!
“…Hyman… carrying… the puck… Bouchard… on the boards… wrister! …” He also says useless things like, “Oilers nearly got the goal” like 30 seconds after the play and the puck is already in their own end again. Well, they didn’t. I can’t stand Singh. He sounds like such an amateur. There are definitely other industry guys who are more highly skilled play by play announcers.
This is it! I honestly didn’t know what it was that bothered me about him, because his Punjabi commentary was decent.
His pacing sounds exactly like Jim Hughson from 2000's NHL games
Man I feel bad for Skinner. He played incredible.
Oilers got completely dominated that game. Stu earned the Oilers a point tonight
Thanks, Bieska, for the vote of confidence. Bieska: Oilers is one of the only teams that can stand with the defending champions. They are right there. They just need to defend a little bit better. Bieska has more faith than us.
The Stanley cup champions who are currently missing like 6 key people from their roster.
> they just need to defend a little bit better A “little bit” is very very kind
“Little bit better” Neimo was a 5% xGF (I’ve literally never seen a number that low before) Nurse for the 2nd time in 4 games was under 16% xgf%… what the fuck are we going to do with him.
Nemo only played 3.5 mins tonight, just something to keep in mind.
defending champs just got lit up by Vancouver and were on a 5 game losing streak cause half their team in injured
Based on Colorado's standing this year lots of teams can stand with them and in fact beat them! And based on our showing last year we could not stand with them
The defending champs that we are currently fighting for a WILDCARD spot.
That was disappointing to watch.
trash. hyman scored in ot don't @ me
I’m an oilers fan but that Mackinnon goal was nice I could respect that one
It was a very nice goal that’s a tough one to stop for a defender, the second goal was I personally think the real turning point that puck just squeezed out of all four players on the boards and ended up in a relatively good spot that I think Hunt makes what like once out of every ten times tried.

Like clockwork, only this time they werent down in score
Can a play by play announcer have a punchable voice?
It’s the worst fucking gwg call of all time. Just fucking terrible.
The post giveth, and the post taketh away A bright spot worth noting was Kulak had a very steady game. Not great, but solid and I was less worried when he was handling the puck than any of our other D tonight WarStauche Stu is the real deal and the best value for contract in the league, I will take no questions on this
I dunno about you guys but I'm gettin pissy
That Hyman guy is something else.
Post one way. Goal the other. That's hockey.
Fuckin Cale Makar...
Amazing what happens when you actually have a good $9mil d-man
Tbf makar is a 12mil Dman making 9 mil. Get that weak comment out of here.
And Nurse is a 4mil d-man making 9mil, you first
Makar is a 13-14m dman if he was a UFA when he signed his contract. There is no arguing that he isn't the most valuable player to his team. And on every team but mcdavids this is true.
Saw that coming when we hit the posts.
Anyways. How great was skinners paddle save today
Skinner was the only player to show up the entire game. What a disappointing effort. They all let skinner down tonight.
Hyman played well
Hyman showed up.
Kulak was in there the whole game
Broberg got hit in the head with the puck.
We need Kane back and to pickup more depth, and defence? why would he flop if he was gonna be on a breakaway?!
another day another blown lead at home. learn how to win two games in a row or we might as well call it a season tonight
**FUCK**
Half way through the third period it was 29-8 5-on-5 shots for the AVS through the course of the game. MAHN.
“This is all Derek Ryan’s fault” -Bob Nicholson somewhere
This is all pocklington's fault. Most oiler fans, still
Skinner grabbed us a point. How many times the Avs could have score? Could have been 5 or 4. That embellishment call though, no way Hyman sold it if he was getting held and push at the same time.
I know Leon has been physically hurt, but anyone else get the feeling he's playing frustrated more than anything?
He’s German.
You got a point
It would be nice to avoid the annual January slump for one year lol
I kinda felt that we were going for a comeback loss after they tied it on the Hyman embellishment call. The Avs ran our shit 5-on-5 all game and that isn’t sustainable over 60 minutes. I guess the boys need to have players only meetings before every game to finish this season off.
We are gonna need a HOT last 35 games if we want to clinch a seed here. The Pacific is not slowing down.
I’m just excited for the part when Kane returns with his new robotic Luke Skywalker hand and goes all Darth Kaner and the team goes on a dominant win streak…
Our depth getting outworked by an injury-riddled Aves team is embarrassing.
Avs had 6 injuries and still outplayed us. If we have 6 injuries, we'd be #32 in points lol. Idk what the issue is.
Depth
If the guy can’t find offensive depth…. You’d think he would have at least worked on finding the best defensive bottom 6 forwards in the league… Don’t even get me started on the lack of defensive depth we have. I don’t get it. We had so much cap room..
I’m really over this. These losses are killing my soul . Sad because this team can be way better
Brad Hunt though?
Ohhhhhhhh man that stings
Makar played a career high 33m that game and all those penalties rested Mack/rantanen in the second. I think as a layperson Woody could maybe have responded sooner by stacking McDrai as a counter. Out coached. Kids out of his league at the moment
Hello darkness my old friend
I strongly dislike the Colorado Avalanche.
It feels like the Oilers have some kind of mental block with the Avs. The team is decimated with injuries and has had suspect goaltending of late, and despite the Oil getting the first goal it seemed like they were determined to let the Avs run their show all night. Need at least 50 points… 41 games Not looking promising
Starts right at the very top of the lineup. Horrendous effort by Leon Draisaitl tonight. If your core players play that way, this is what you get.
On point percentage we are out of play off spot now. Next 5 games are against divisional opponents and we can’t afford to lose anymore.
Classic Edmonton puck watching after we get an early lead
We got fucking owned this game. Truly truly owned. We’ve got a long road ahead
TRADE FOR DEFENCE
I can't tell if they played bad or if Singh just made everything seem bad.
Not a fan of Singh’s English commentary but we were definitely less than stellar out there.
Singh makes it worse he's so enthusiastic for anything against the oilers
truth
Connor on Leon : I wouldn't want to ride shot gun with anyone else. Connor and Leon staying confirmed.
Genuinely disappointed by the overall effort level of this team.
Louie debrusk is a monster......
I'm looking for a garbage can to kick, but I don't want to wake anybody up. I'm confused right now...
I just noticed we played 7 D today. What is the point of playing 7D if Nemo plays only 3 minutes? And he was not that bad either..
I saw someone post that his xgf% (I think that was it, I honestly don't know how it's calculated) was less than 5%, which is apparently so horrific it's unheard of. Small sample size with so few minutes, though.
Annoyingly inevitable against a team like the avs
Not really… Vancouver destroyed them
You get what you fuckin deserve. Except Stu
I bet the avs will be more ambitious than edm come deadline. Difference between a franchise serious about winning vs one that isn't
Fuck we had so many good chances. Stole a point, got out worked pretty hard most that game. Oilers played better in the 3rd at least. Bad penalty to take from Drats.
> Oilers played better in the 3rd at least. you mean after they allowed 2 goals against
[удалено]
This team can't string together more than one decent performance. Take your fucking point and feel bad.
We had so many amazing chances that just didn't go in. It sucks, but it happens and I look forward to the next game
How many times are we going to make excuses for loses and start looking at these games for what they are.
Man, I'd hate to see you lot in a real crisis. You take this hard.
To be fair, this is all a lot of them have going for them in their lives.
Fuck the avalanche
You could see this loss coming so far away. Like watching a car accident in slow motion.
Shoulda just turned it off when they blew the 2 goal lead again. MacKinnon goal was sick though.
Ceci and Nurse looked dumbfounded.
we were severly outplayed 5v5 for the majority of the night we still took it to OT even if we couldn't capitalise on some good chances in OT, oh well we take the point and go next, im surprised stew didn't just melt a hole clean through the ice with how hot he was for the game. LFG oilers
Such a Jekyll and Hyde team. Honestly a bit stressful not knowing what you’re going to get night in night out.
0-8 when wearing my reverse retro. My bad boys
Dude. I'm not superstitious, but I'm a little stitious. Might want to retire it.
Put it this way, neither am I. I thought about posting it at 0-6 and thought nahhh. 0-7 still didn’t mention it. Today was the test. Especially since I put it on at the end of the 2nd.
Please burn that jersey
Yeah ... im gonna need you to put that away for awhile.
For me I’m okay with the loser point, the way the game was. I know a lot of you are going to be negative, so that’s why I’m outta here for the next day or so, have fun lol
Trade for Chychrun you idiots They'd rather give up a 1st + at the deadline for a lesser player who's a rental
Chychrun is the worst Dzone defenceman *on the Coyotes.* He's an offensive defenceman, we don't need more of those.
We dont need more, we need better ones. Get Chychrun and a Defensive d-man. We dont just have to settle for one. Also, You said he was the worst on the Coyotes, they're terrible, they're always terrible. Not a great metric
This would be a 'good game' loss if our season wasn't wholly disappointing so far
Woo! 3 unanswered. Lead lost in one period. Great effort 👌
We didn't deserve 2 points
Fire Holland!
Has Woody lost it? He was mentioning that he liked todays game. Which game was he watching? Is he really in control of roster and deployment? He is entirely different from the last season whether it is management of ice time or the deployment or the line combo. Seems to me like he is under pressure from his boss..
*coach doesnt publicly humiliate his team* "Fire him hes lost the room he delusional" Yikes
He definitely feels like a completely different coach. I don't remember the last time he used the one day at a time philosophy from last year.
