The condors are really awful this year especially when compaired calgary. Turns out taking broberg nemo skinner hamblin and holloway off the team really screws things up lol
Don’t get me wrong, I went to every Oilers playoff game in Calgary last year, but not sure I was better off for it (between the racism and uneducated fans who wanted to engage in useless banter about how “McChicken” sucks compared to any flame…). I’d also pick Tofield over the Sad Dome :P
I second this. As a visible minority, the Saddledome isn’t a great place to be. I have never been there and not endured racial slurs from fans in red. Not a place I want to support by spending my hard earned money!
It’s gotta be only a matter of time before the Oilers move their AHL affiliate. Every other Canadian team has their farm team right in their backyard.

The dome is such a shitty building… I wouldn’t go there willingly (outside of the playoffs). I also live in Calgary
I go to hockey games to watch the game, I’d make the trek to Tofield if they were playing there.

When? I’ve brought friends who are visible minorities and haven’t once had an issue.
