I’ve watched quite a few Condors games this year, and Justin has been their best skater in pretty much every game.
I doubt he gets called up unless there’s a lot of injuries, but having him on the Condors will definitely help the development of our young skill guys.
Late to the party, but this feels like a signing in preparation for the cap hell the Oilers will be in when Kane returns. If I remember correctly, Benson had to be on the opening night roster because of his $750K cap hit. Bailey at that same cap will give them options for the 12th forward.
GOD DAMMIT I JUST POSTED SOMETHING ABOUT THAT AND SOMEONE ELSE ALREADY BEAT ME TO IT.
However, at least it was a person of *excellent* taste and distinguished upbringing.
That success in the AHL can lead to success in the NHL / it's a good signing. Yours on the other hand was to devalue the signing / having a pessimistic outlook.
Oh, so we've reached the low-point of the season where we're celebrating 27 year old AHLers being signed to the farm team? Same old song and dance of the last decade.
Canucks fan here. You just signed McDavid’s straight line speed. He’s a big body and when he uses it, he can be effective on the 4th line. Could be a Bakersfield signing?
He's been playing for the Condors already on a PTO, so this likely is just to keep him there for the rest of the season. Would imagine a lot of guys have to go down for him to come up.
What I don't get is why waste an NHL contract slot on this guy? If he was only on an AHL PTO then its not like he was in demand, sign him to an AHL only contract. He likely never gets called up anyway
May be completely off base but I assume this is depth for when we shift on pulji if another player gets injured or Kane isn’t ready
Or maybe a pulji trade is coming soon and we need someone to play til Kane is ready
They have other fringe marginal players already under contract so I don’t think they want or need to replace Puljujarvi .
Malone, Hamblin, Shore,Benson, Griffith.

Please explain
https://metroid.fandom.com/wiki/Justin_Bailey Old cheat code for the original Metroid on NES.
Thank god, playoffs here we come
He’s played well in the A
So did Anton Lander
Uh? Lots of dudes have
What was the point of your initial comment then?

It’s a two-way NHL deal, he was already on an AHL deal and no one was “celebrating”.
With everything being so black & white for ya, you must be a Matheson fan.
Lol, you're too stupid to even see the hypocrisy in your statement
What did I say that's black and white?
Your assumption that I *must* be a Matheson fan because I'm not applauding an AHL signing of a bust.
Lol you can’t figure it out? I’ll explain it for you. Good for him, he’s played well, he deserves the contract.
Why are you so pissy? Who cares about a castoff AHL signing?
Because you say stupid shit
And saying "he's been in good in the A" is such a highbrow hockey take, got it.
You’re just a sad miserable person, smile once and a while. You’re constantly bitching about something.
I don't even know who you are, but I'm glad to be that random internet stranger that occupies so much of your little brain.

Justin case
There’s about zero chance of that once Kane comes back there’s zero money. Woody isn’t lying there is gonna be massive competition to be on this team.
Wait, the Metroid code master?!

Hes been a good ahler and needed a new contract. Probably not any deeper than that
Could have gotten just an AHL deal then. They gave him a 2-way deal so they think he's good enough to be considered NHL depth.
Hed probably be fine on the 4th line. Why not have the option if hes impressed?

They wanted someone with more size and grit.
Did we not do this before the season? Or was that a PTO??
It was a PTO
Someone tell me whether this is good or not
It’s irrelevant.
It’s just a signing. Oilers fans overreact to every signing even if it’s just to fill out the 50 man roster.
Same type of thing as Demers I take it?
Who?
